Who do you think has been more influential in our centre breaks? The composure, set up, the extraction is obvious but with 2 of the greats at achieving these traits in the past who has really ignited our mids. |

Coaching may have helped but I think the answer is Hewitt & Cerra. And it doesn’t hurt that Cripps is fit and focused, and that Pittonet & TDK are healthy and improving. |

I was thinking about this too. However, I don’t reckon that we’d be looking this good in the midfield if we still had Teague in charge. I think the new/fit players makes a big difference but so does our attack and attitude. And resilience. And game plan. |

We were pretty good at getting first hands on it previously but the difference seems to be the multiple forward handballs which mean the F50 entry can be deeper. Previously we tended to slam it on the boot after the first handball. |

Agree, but its just as much Cripps being fit again and the continued evolution of Kennedy as much as it is Hewett and Cerra. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Voss. It appears he has the courage and smarts to put his ego aside and allows those who specialise in an area to do their jobs. With Greaves managing leadership, Hanson supplying the tactical nous and Hammil/Clarke focussing on the finer details, we appear to have a good structure. But it wouldn't have occurred under a Malthouse or Pagan. It had to be all about them. So credit to Voss for appearing to understand his areas of strength and weakness and overseeing a program that brings out the best in everyone involved. He doesn't appear to be a genius by any stretch of the imagination but at this stage, he appears to be a fantastic leader that has implemented a program that has total buy-in from everyone involved. |

Wonderful analysis. I heard Voss speaking before the dogs game and he was asked what’s the one thing he would do differently to his time at the lions, and it was basically get the support he needs around him and then importantly, put the trust in them to do their job. I think you’ve hit the nail on the head there Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Voss is managing and setting the standards. Clarke, Hamill and comp. are running setups and structures. Williams is a specialist coach. ‘Teaching’ and enhancing football basics and specifics to individuals. Ps. more importantly Voss is outlining how he wants us to play and his coaching team and everyone else are on the same page to implement. |
