The dogs are very gettable IMO.

Great midfield who try to finesse the ball & rely on precision. They can be harassed off their game as the Dees showed

Short defence

Naughton a super player but doesn't have enough mates up forward

Carlton by 3 goals.

While you could mount an argument for several changes, i would go in with no changes. Now the nerves have settled a bit, see how it gels in week 2 ie Fisher, LOB, Martin, Setterfield all seemed to come good later in the game.

Yeah, I'd back this 22 to go again. Start making changes in rnd 3 when Walsh is ready.

Yep, reward effort and the win.

No changes for mine, maybe Carroll takes sub rather than Willo to get him a game.

LOB not great but give him a second chance. He wont be in the team when Walsh is fit.

As long as everybody pulled up OK (Weitering & McGovern?) I doubt we’ll see any changes. They might play Williamson in the VFL to give him a good run and perhaps have Plowman, Newnes or Fogarty as sub? I would prefer Carroll to have 90% TOG in the VFL than waste a round as AFL sub.

No changes from me either. Will want to see improved performances from Fisher, LOB and Owies if they are to keep their spots though.

One change for mine. Dow for either O'Brien or Setterfield. Or at least as the sub.

Reasonable chance that Bont will be out. I hate to say it, but I think that would make us favourites....

Any truth to the rumour that Voss has woken up with Covid and Hansen will coach the team next week?

THE CLUB can confirm that AFL Senior Coach Michael Voss, two members of its football department and senior player Jack Martin have been placed under the AFL’s Health and Safety Protocols from today.

Senior Assistant Coach Ashley Hansen will coach the senior side next Thursday night against the Western Bulldogs.

Carlton Head of Football Brad Lloyd said the four individuals would follow the necessary protocols over the next week, and the Club will continue to provide them with the necessary support.

Just when you think our run of rotten luck has come to an end. Guess its only a week and if Martin is the only player, not the end of the world.

Watched the twos yesterday and had to be super impressed with Carroll, Dow, Motlop - kemp and Philp ok

If Covid impacts us - we have some guys who deserve a run

Far out. When something positive happens, then this. Geez. Big chances other players will get it now I reckon.

True. Our depth hasn't been this strong for many many years. Have lots of options now.
