Could be a tough night if Charlie and Harry are absent.

Let’s hope if that happens our unpredictability in attack works in our favour.

I think most Carlton supporters realise we are a team of 6 with another 38 making up the numbers.
Weiters Saad Cripps Walsh Charlie and Harry.
If all 6 are fit and playing we can beat anyone.
Lose one we might compete with teams in bottom half of 8. Lose 2 and we are 8 to 12 team. Lose 3 bottom 6 , Lose 4 bottom 4 .

We keep this 6 on the paddock we will go a long way. The other 38 players you can chop and change all you like it will make bugger all difference.

Hoping Cerra makes it 7

Most Carlton supporters?
Yeah, I suspect that's incorrect, both assumptions. Just my opinion of course.

I’m looking forward to it will give us a good guide where we are even absent Charlie and H

Another game for hopefully Durdin and kemp

Another game to integrate Hewitt Cerra and Oscar into team

See whether Setterfield fisher Williamson really want to play round one

Better off playing the best and recognising how standards Ned to be improved and how far we have to go to compete against the best

Suspect?
I think most Carlton supporters know that's incorrect BV...I'm assuming you were just being diplomatic

Soooo...Charlie + Harry absent (against last years premiers) makes it a tough night = we can't win because we have 16 duds on the ground + 6 good players

Sounds like a Harru Hoo scene from Get Smart

Hoping DeKoning, Kemp and Stocker make it 10 and the likes of Martin and Williams become more consistent.

I think it’s been our Football Dept largely holding us back - I’d like to think we’ve improved in that area this summer.

The key is balance. If Geelong were without Hawkins and Cameron, they would struggle.
Note I didn't mention Walsh? Because we have mids to cover for him. Not because he's a member of a supposed 6.

Pittonet vs Gawn and Jackson is going to be a big test for Pitto.

We will find out more about our rucks this week.

As much as I love Jack for being Jack, all heart and a competes with spirit, I don't think he's going to nullify the ruck contest against the Premiership Ruckmen.

Lets see.

Agree (the suspicion is incorrect).
And you could say a similar thing about pretty much every team.
Even the Dees: Gawn, Petracca, Oliver, May, Lever and??
But then others play their roles, and others lift at various times as did Brayshaw, Salem and Fritsch in the GF. And Viney. And a few others.

Some people attribute a team's success to its top 6, others to the strength of the bottom 6. It takes a whole team to really be a top team.

Anyone else had issues with the ticket to the game?
I have received mine through the Carlton app but when I clicked on it no barcode came up.
It may have been fixed now but I tried over the weekend.
I also noticed there were the Marvel games but not any for the MCG on my account.
Anyone know if this is an error or is there something I am doing wrong.
