Plowman Parks Cottrell all named on bench (subs?) and in the VFL team
Plowman coming off a training block and selected in the VFL may imply Voss has Williamson and Gov ahead of him.
Ed is back...ahead of Dow, Fogarty and Newnes ???
Another look at Boyd
Ed is a better player than either Fogarty or Newnes ... still. Unless anything untoward happens to Ed he should always get a game.
But Setterfield playing. I would prefer Dow.
Interesting that LOB is being persisted with over Dow. Message there I suggest.
I agree with you Teddy. I watched the 2013 EF last night and saw where Ed got the tag as a shit kick: 2 OBOF's with 2 consecutive kicks, but he knows his limitations and fights with everything he's got to win a contest. That's something Dow needs to bring to his game, IMHO.
I really like Dow and feel he's been maligned by the media and that has rubbed off on supporters, and....who knows what influence that has had on teahue and Voss? None probably.
LOB is a wingman. I believe everyone considers LOB's role in the team as such with the skillset and physical attributes he brings to the table, and that's where he has to succeed if he's going to win hearts and minds, and get another contract. I thought he played really well last week.
I haven't written off Dow, and strongly believe Voss will shape him for the better...for now, in the VFL.
I'm not sure if Dow is better than Setterfield as a wingman, but I do know I prefer Dow, coz I'm a tad bias and want to see him succeed as an AFL footballer...I want that for Setterfield too.
may the best man win.
I don't think Voss has Dow competing for OBrien's spot, and it seems Voss has trained Dow all preseason to play a midfield role, and he still is.
