It's Sam Walsh so I'll be surprised if he's not back in the side by Good Friday.

@#$%&! hell, being a Liverpool and Carlton fan is hard work sometimes. Both teams seem to have a special affinity for huge injury lists and delayed-delayed-delayed surgery.

So it has taken 4 months to decide this is the best course of action.
Seriously, this is beyond a joke.
All the best to him, fingers crossed the surgery is successful.
You can't make this up.

Our problem isn't getting players up and running for Pre-season. It's keeping them on the park during the season.
In-season fitness management should be the area we are scrutinising.
I blame you BV

Shame for the lad….

I’m going to convince myself that’s the only injury
we’ll have till the end of next season…!

don’t have the energy to think…”here we go again”…!

this will be it…the ONLY injury we have…!

Has anyone checked Charlie's xmas stocking before making these reckless predictions?

I don't know, but I have a prosthetic leg free to a good home if anyone wants. It'd make an excellent stocking filler

Hilarious mate .
All I am saying is there has been so many examples of players, coaches at CFC over the last 20 years where it’s like it’s a catastrophe that one bloke goes down.
There are around 40 blokes on the list
You need at least 30 who can do the business
The bottom 6 best players win you the flag every year
Having one guy going down shouldn’t make such a difference
Obviously Walsh should of had surgery a few months back
A slow start to the year would be better?
Now it won’t be till May at the earliest when we see him
Big fish syndrome

I have been as big a critic of Russell & co as anyone over the last few years but I can sort of see the method to the madness here. I guess they just wanted to absolutely see if they could avoid back surgery on a 22 y.o., & stretched out the timeline as long as possible, while there was a chance.

Still infuriating though.

Yes but there are clearly seasons where club A has a massive injury advantage over club B.

And we're always club B.
