My early mail was right - Oscar gone for the year
So extra pick for the MSD?

Go Blues

I like the idea of giving W Hayes another go. He was good enough to get a game in a very handy Bulldogs side and has played very well in our VFL side.

However I think we will need to have three vacancies as key big backman and backup ruck forward should surely be our priorities.

Am I correct in believing that we have 2 vacancies ATM?

(And in other injury news..... I had an appointment with my surgeon Saturday morning as I have torn my right biceps tendon. He gave me a steroid injection hoping to prevent surgery and it felt better for a while but painful now after the local wore off. Which is why I am on TC at 3:30 in the morning. The doc was not too amused when I asked him if the steroids would preclude me from playing for the Blues next week. I was wearing my Carlton 2022 Member Polo and he is a Bombers supporter - so that may have contributed to his lack of empathy!) S Dank was practicing in Darwin for a while - maybe I should seek him out.)

And Marchbank “tweaked” his good knee, let’s see how he pulls up tomorrow.

I think he’s due back after the bye in a few weeks.

Probably not an accurate reflection.
That's only 3 players for Geelong.

On a positive note, it could be interpreted that we have good depth and system to cover the experience of the outs.

If only all ours seemed to be talls that we lack.

Just to have Pittonet and/or McKay back would make a massive difference to our talent but also flexibility
