Marc Pittonet will be sidelined for the next couple of months with scans confirming a ruptured posterior cruciate ligament in his knee.

No stress. It’s not like we require a quality ruckman for our primary mode of scoring :yikes:

Obviously you've heard that from somewhere frank.
Coz I can't find any news on Pitto.

So crucial to us is Pitto.
Darcy lined him up and took him out

Happy birthday Bondi!!!

Not sure Darcy would have intentionally lined him up given the potential risk of injuring himself ???

Thanks london ... big day

I can position my knee to hurt someone without hurting myself. Darcy did that. All you need to do is watch the replay. He looks at Pitto, attacks him with gusto (see his face screw up with determination to collide into Pitto) then AFTER he makes contact into the spot he was aiming for, as Pitto collapses, Darcy looks up and the ball coming down happens to be where his hand is and he wins the tap.

Its not what we need!

Time for everyone, including the half hearted to step up and give us an extra 5%.

To think after round 1, we were in discussion about depth and pressure on spots when Marchbank Honey Carroll, Philp, Stocker, Kemp and Cuningham return from injury.

With Pitto having a long term injury let's not kill Jack Silvagni by making him play ruck for the next 12+ weeks.

I agree. I wonder if this brings Young more into contention for ruck duties

Nah.... We can kill SOJ by kicking it 3 metres short to him.....

Probably not without a CHB behind him.

I hope not. He was abysmal in the ruck on Saturday night. As I mentioned in the gamely thread. I'd throw Parkes in as relieve ruckman. He's short, lacking ability and game sense but he is as competitive as you can get. Something Young and TDK could learn from.

Correct Bondi. At the point of contact, only one player was looking at the ball. Pretty average IMHO. Pitto was giving him a lesson and his response was to take his opponent out.

I actually quite like Darcy but I would hope as a bare minimum he'd make some form of communication with Pittonet & apologise

Do you reckon he could grow into the position though BV? I actually have my concerns about him at CHB. I think he's too bloody tall for it
