With each injury that comes up, the decision to delist Levi looks a poor one. Geez he'd be handy right now

He sure would be.
There are not too many players who can play key forward/back and ruck.

What's with Ms and Injuries?
Motlop, McKay and Mirkov should be getting nervous.

The Charlie forward, Harry pushing up
Or
Harry forward, Charlie pushing up

Has served us so well.

It's not about the loss of Harry, it's more about the loss of the Charlie/Harry pairing

Shame.

Yep... and plenty bagging him while he was playing too.... Shows the value of somone who can play a number of positions (... especially back up ruck)
Anyway... Time for others to step up... SOS more forward time

Go Blues

6 weeks will go quickly and we have the bye in there. Main concern is the teams we play in that time are all the games I want to win. The filth, the scum, and bitchmond

Well, you couldn't predict nearly every tall would get injured.

If we play Mirkov it allows us to not move too many deckchairs. It gives Silvagni uninterrupted forward time.

We could also look at playing Kennedy forward if we get Hewett back.

Hewett in push Kennedy forward

Kemp in goes forward

So you lose Harry but you have Kemp and Kennedy as marking options alongside Charlie with SOS and Cripps spending time up forward too

I think this is what they should do

I wouldn't bring Mirkov in and push TDK forward because then you weaken two parts of the ground , assuming Mirkov isn't ready to light the place up

I think when injuries hit you have to try and maintain the existing strengths

Keep TDK in the ruck and hope our midfield fire on all cylinders which gives the new forward set up the best supply possible to put up a decent score

Of course if they think Mirkov can come in and get 45 hit outs then you probably go that route shoving TDK into Harrys spot

Mirkov not ready. May win a tap but not sure where it will go and he is still learning after that.
Kemp may help but either way this is a huge blow. Charlie will get double teamed, no Martin who can take a mark. And we are not yet great at hitting up our midsized players. Going to rely on stoppages and midfielders shooting from range.
I’m with Jake in that these are the games I am most keen to win!

Bring Eddie out of retirement to play KPF. Worked in the past.

I know it's only Robbo, but he was saying tonight on 360 that a meniscus is usually less than 6 weeks. Is that correct?

I blame Liam Jones, if he was playing we could throw Young forward.

This is Carlton though... Add a couple of weeks on and that's not taking into account any setbacks.

depends on the severity. if its surgery, it will be keyhole and it will need to be reattached, time for it to heal and then get the movement back in, i wouldnt be surprised if its 8 weeks or more - speaking from experience, not a doctor - but i hope im wrong

Just so disappointing I think this will have a massive impact

If you're paying Carlton the twin towers is your second major headache after Cripps.

Totally deflated. Not looking forward to Sunday. I can see a bad loss ahead.

This is the consequence of a brittle list.

Has Harry put 1 season in without an injury interruption?

6 weeks........no @#$%&! way.

That's not what he said. He said 'I can throw a discus 6 feet' but because he's so pissed he does tend to slur a bit.
