Mitch Cleary reported it and he’s normally pretty good.

If you watch the replay of the Adelaide game Kennedy goes off the ground earlier in the game limping. I am guessing this is when he hurt it.

Injuries are definitely holding our season to ransom.

Just mentioned during the VFL broadcast, Melbourne have 4 (FOUR) injuries in total across their entire list right now.

Carlton have 16, and this was while Kemp was off for a concussion test!

I was just about to post about Kemp.
I knew Melbourne had very few injuries. Wouldn't that be nice?

Kemp came back on so he is ok and Mirkov received a cut to his knee and will not play the second half.
Good news for both players.

Unless it's a Newman like cut in which case he's out for weeks.

Speaking of. I think we've missed Newman a bit the last couple of weeks

The Carlton Football Club can confirm that midfielder Matthew Kennedy will miss the remainder of the 2022 AFL season.

Kennedy underwent scans in recent days which confirmed a Lisfranc injury to his foot, that will rule him out for the remainder of the 2022 AFL season.

He will undergo further assessment this week to determine the appropriate course of rehabilitation.

Fellow midfielder Adam Cerra will be assessed during the week in regards to his availability for Round 23.
