Thanks Rexy. So am I right to say that we have no live picks in today’s rookie draft but we can fill the spot vacated by Jones in the pre-season supplementary selection period or the mid-season draft? |

Cottrell won't have to be re-drafted thanks to the rule change, but O'Brien was de-listed, so will be added to the rookie list today. Jones will be removed from the primary list on Monday after the final lodgement deadline. We then fill the final spot during the SSP, which runs from December to early March. I'd rather see us use a live pick (#6) in the rookie draft and leave O'Brien until the SSP. But, it looks as though we're on tram tracks. |

Reading that list makes me feel ancient. Even at the end of next season there'll only be one player in their 30s. Keep topping up with elite recruits and we could have a great 5 years coming up. |

Add Jones and there's a real drop off in age, but seeing it for real has still amazed me too GE. The list transformation is done and the profile looks good. Get another KPD, a good one, to replace Jones, and the list looks balanced. Spots on list are hot, let alone spots in best 22. Age in 2022 Curnow 33 Docherty 29 Saad 28 edit Plowman 28 Williams 28 Newman 28 Newnes 28 Martin 27 Cripps 27 McGovern 27 The rest are developing stars of the future...starting 2022 under Voss I wonder which FA is available for us next year? There's a few above who will be playing for their career in 2022...love it. Plus a few developing players may be up for Trades too....pressure. List profile is looking balanced for 2022 |
