We'd even bugger that up and he'd get 4 more years with Tim Webster as his manager

Transplant the game plan onto a team with players that can actually execute it and it'd probably be OK.

Was gonna say that coaching Carlton is like herding cats, but I reckon cats would be easier to train than the team of bananas we have right now.

see I disagree, transplant this game plan onto Collingwood (for example) and there run of wins would evaporate, in fact I'd back us to beat them as long as we were playing some semblance of a game that from the opening bounce included urgency in all aspects of football.

We're done this year. We need to start planning for 2024 (sadly) by assessing our list, trialling things and game styles

Voss's media conferences worry me. All BS and no accountability

I really thought Voss would change our attitude and toughness. I was wrong

Always the risk getting previously failed coaches.

I wonder if there is still something going on in background that is clouding his judgement.

Or am I just clutching at straws

yep.
We need to do something quick.
Hard to see Voss going at least for this year.
But we can't afford to let player development and confidence keep slipping.
Worst game plan I've ever seen.

Same here.

But if something that serious is going on you take leave and someone else steps in.

I was kind of hoping for an Ian Stewart type announcement circa 1978 but unfortunately wasn’t to be.

We haven't scored over 59 in the last 3 games.

Despite having the last 2 Coleman medallists

That's truly mindblowing

We are regressing at an incredible speed

I do worry about this game plan. I feel like our players have low footy IQ but I don’t believe we have a team full of hacks. I do think most coaches would love to be working with our list.
However, for those who think Ross is the answer, the Saints just lost to the Hawks.
Melbourne lost to Freo, GWS currently beating Geelong. The year before the Dees finally won the flag, they were shiite. It is not linear.
Having said that, I am at a loss as what we should do from here. I really hope that someone in a position of power knows what the hell to do which lever to pull or not pull.
I assume at the very least that Voss will be asked to explain to the Board where we are at, why, where we are heading, and how. And they will need to be convinced. Hopefully, they can see clearly.

It is almost funny.
We have the last two Coleman medalists and our forward line is currently our weakness.

I don't understand the handwringing about lack of game plan.

I actually think the game plan's pretty clear.

If you don't understand it watch a game of Auskick.

There are very clear rules that players must abide by and our players are doing a stellar job.

1. When one of your players takes a mark, run around in circles with your arms in the air about five metres from the man on the mark calling for the ball so that you can get a touch despite the fact that you are in a worse position and your wasting of time will allow the opposition to set up defensively.

2. If the ball is in your hands in general play just boot the shit out of it in the general direction you're heading if you can still remember which way that is - I know it's confusing considering how it keeps changing each quarter.

3. The only time you should move the ball quickly is when kicking into the forward line and only opposition players are present.

4. If you're the captain at no time should you pass the ball to a player in a better position. You are the captain. Your teammates are rubbish compared to you and you must do everything because you are the best.

5. That's about it really.
