Quite. Not sure that Ginnivan shares many of Selwood's admirable attributes though.

Like being a mealy-mouthed slag head like every other dirtbag to come out of Sandhurst Footy Club?

Cheating cauliflower.

Selwood is apparently about to announce his retirement this today (Wed).
But, agree 100% - we should be going after him as an assistant.
(I'd also get Vossy onto Nigel Lappin...)

Selwood met with Brad Lloyd yesterday.
We are an option for him but no decision yet.

I was really impressed with how calm Voss looked, talking to the players in the last quarter

Due to a @#$%&! -wit courier who couldn't be arsed knocking on the damn door, I was still sans HD TV last night so I could only get the post match show on 7+, but goddamn does Michael speak well. Normally sports press conferences are an utter bore, but he really listens and replies thoughtfully to questions, it's a pleasure to watch. A lot of public figures could learn from him.

Kind of exactly like Mick Malthouse but not at all.

Im sure alot of people will have views on who has been the best coach our team has ever had.

Regardless of who you think that is, this guy Voss, is the real deal and should be very much in the consideration of such a title (regardless of how short he has been in the role).

Outstanding player, who clearly has a very good footy brain. Clearly has the team in his hands and vice versa. Has shown an ability to turnaround some very disturbing traits in a short time (lots more to fix).

Someone else saif it too I think, but gives well structured and thought out responses in every press conference he gives, as well as "selling" the club direction on other media events.

Whats not to like?

Didn't see this at the time. But well worth revisiting.

Exhibit A Mark Robinson. :smoking:

Something is very wrong with Carlton's ball movement.

Something is very wrong with the way Carlton defend opposition ball movement.

The one wood from last year - centre clearances - is now something they're struggling with as well.
