Acknowledged that players need to physically adjust to Voss's combative game style and recruiting will play an important part in that

Made it clear TDK and McKay are also long term priority signings - perhaps 6 years also in line with Charlie?

Nothing groundbreaking but along with Voss's post game presser, you can tell these guys get it, they want more and they're willing to do what it takes to get there.

Stocker seems to be that combative type, yet was delisted.

Maybe LOB can develop a combative side to his game.

I just watched the Pies game after watching the Dees game yesterday, and was surprised how much more physical LOB was against the Pies.

I reckon Voss believes he can mould LOB to be the player he needs to be. Hence the 2 year extension.

From experience this is less than likely if the job is done well in the first place.
Plus you use this to recruit the right person to maintain and build on what's done.

But there is no guarantee, once given the reigns, they will do this. Much better IMO to have them onside and assisting in developing the culture etc and therefore much more likely to continue the journey rather than start again. Remember people at this level like to put their stamp on things.
