So Melbourne have 6 in the squad, Carlton have 5 in the squad and Geelong have five in the squad and the AFL website's headline reads...

AA SQUAD REVEALED: Cats, Demons dominate as breakout Pie snubbed

Funny guys...

Cue frothing that the 9th placed team has so many included , cue final AA team having 1 Carlton player.

Cripps is a lock.

Curnow is in - they're not going to leave out the Coleman winner.

Saad a very good chance.

Walsh unlucky but not as good as last year.

Weitering no hope and surprised he's in the squad considering how many games missed and his not so stellar return to the side.

Cripps’ last couple of games gets him in after drifting since the first couple of months.
Weitering last few games has him missing out after being a lock pre-injury.
Curnow the only absolute lock for mine. Together with Lynch and I reckon one of the Geelong duo.
Walsh - interesting b/c his stats are much better than some others who will probably get in ahead of him. But I think that’s fine - stats don’t tell the whole story and he was not as influential this year.
Saad - 50/50 for mine. He should be in and he has played particularly well in the last month or so when we haven’t been doing so well.
Docherty - surprised he is not in. A lock for the ‘Most Courageous’ award though.

Saad, Cripps and Curnow made the team.
Cripps named Vice Captain.

They played footage of the Elliot goal four times with four different sets of commentary earlier. Triggering.

No wonder they didn't interview any Carlton boys.

I watched it so you didn't have to!

How is Hawkins Captain?

His own club hasn’t even made him a vice-captain.

Oh Miss….

i flicked it over just as that bit was beginning…
the controls were put down…and by the time i
got them in my hand again…I’d seen two
different calls….!

i kept repeating….”no-no-no-no-no”…!

it reminded me of that time i heard a weird noise
coming from my parents room…so i opened the
door and turned the lights on…!

i turned them off SO fast and scattered….!

don’t worry…i got in my car and went straight home…!

kindest regards tommi

Docherty missing out is another example of just NFI.

Rivers, Rich & Hannebery all polled maximum votes.

Walsh was the previous record holder for total votes with 54 out of 55 (Luke Darcy, toss bag). They’ve since added a 12th judge.

Daicos & De Koning are unanimous first and second, with one judge spoiling the trifecta by awarding Newcombe two votes instead of three.

Kane Cornes thinks the football public are fools.

He is such a bullshit artist. He selected Hawkins over the other 4 real captains because Cripps team didnt make the 8...but Gawn's did!!!
