I wouldn't trust Russell to rebuild a Lego Friends set based on the past few years injury lists...

Simple stuff. Carlton has a way of making good people look stupid.

It's our superpower.

Where once we were the professionals we have been left behind because everyone else improved beyond that whilst we drink our own bathwater.

Until we work out how to maximise peoples potential we are waiting for others to make us a good club and that equals a poor organisation.

Unfortunately, have to say I agree.

Looking at the plethora of injured this year, I don't think its fair to lump the blame on Russell for those injuries.

The players with soft tissue injuries are the ones which may raise eyebrows regarding Russell:

Soft tissue injuries to Gov, Williams both have a history of not getting their bodies right did hammies. Saad worked through a thigh issue despite being hampered for a few games, he played on limiting his explosiveness, and Gibbons tore his hammy off the bone. Not sure about Martin's tight hammies and playing underdone, but that may have been on Teague.

Is it the players who said they were right, but weren't or are susceptible to injury? Saad and Gibbons are both just bad luck imo.

I'm comfortable knowing we have Russell on our side.

All about setting standards. Not convinced McGovern and William worked hard enough to get themselves in the best condition possible. These are professional athletes. Absolutely no excuses.
