I thought the Saints had plenty of the ball, guys like Zac Jones who I've always rated in particular. But they kept using it terribly, either the last possession in their chains, or the shot at goal.

The last 15 min of the game by us I can forgive a bit, thought this was the period when Jsos started to get really buggered, which is understandable.

This is the way I viewed the game too.
We were very lucky they weren't more accurate with disposal eff. and goal kicking and with the loss of TDK, even more lucky JSOS could fill in and provide a contest as another midfielder and keep the clearance ledger a lot more even than it should've been given the hit out advantage.
Another 20pts equalled appx. another 1% and another 40pts would've been appx. 2.5%, all extremely valuable over the next couple of weeks. An opportunity missed not only for this season but for next season too in my books, now it's really up to the gods so to speak.

Yep, it's not often we will be that accurate in front of goal. But I liked our midfield accountability, defensive work and tackling/pressure. If we bring those every week, we'll give ourselves more opportunities to win than not.

I couldn't agree more.
I think the penny has dropped for a few players as well as the coaching staff.
It's just frustrating that it took a review to get things going and so late in the season.
At least there is promising signs for next season.

Lets hope they improve on a weekly basis, enough to win last 3.

Wishful thinking.

But if the penny has dropped, and Charlie's back, TDK rucking, Eddie recalled....

We can all hope I guess.
I'm just happy to see improvements.
