Two coaches wont work. Especially when you have different theories. Can only be a disaster. Two many chefs etc etc.

One has to be the coach and the other some other senior assistant or director of coaching. But you would think director of coaching will be someone with a tonne of coaching experience. Neither Voss or Kingsley qualify for this nor would i want one of them to take this title.

I hope we are looking to grab a director of coaching from somewhere to support the new coach.

I'm warming to Voss, primarily on the strength of his leadership.
If Kingsley pips him at the post, then I'll back him in too.

I guess, at the end of the day (hopefully today) I'm comfortable/confident that Cook together with Parkin and Williams know what they're doing.

I feel the same.
A couple of weeks ago we would never have imagined it would be Voss but I am now accepting this is likely.
We have to get this right.

I'm sure Voss has to go into 14 day mandatory isolation when he goes back to Adelaide.

He must be coming because he knows he's close to getting the job.

May the best man win, Voss or Kingsley.

I'm glad there's been a process.

But, may there be candidates for the Head Coach role currently amongst the Doggies or Dees?

I don't think it will be Lyon if the abovementioned have impressed. Who really knows?

You still have to quarantine to come into Victoria but like I said this is about football and not about dictator Dan inconsistent stupidity

Gil has more power than Dan.

Stupid question but how exactly is he meeting Carlton officials when landing in Melbourne?
Are indoor gatherings banned? Not sure you could conduct this in a outdoor and public setting.
Footballers and anyone associated with football have a natural immunity to covid.

Look Betty, don't start up with your white zone shit again. There's just no stopping in a white zone.

Oh really, Vernon? Why pretend, we both know perfectly well what this is about. You want me to have an abortion.

Yep. Coaching a football club in the off season is essential work. Obviously.

Its a religion in Melbourne.

A higher heaven than the gods the jews, christians, muslims, hindis....worship

Its the trump of the footy gods.

Does that place Dan closer to Trump than Whitlam?

No you don't. He is coming from a green zone state.

My nephew lives in Adelaide and got a concreting contract to come here and had to quarantine for 2 weeks and has 3 days left in quarantine

Why on earth would he have to quarantine?
He is coming from a covid free state.
Voss got off the plane from Adelaide and didn't quarantine.

He stepped past a few people, hopped into a taxi, touched a steel door knob...all once he got off the plane....maybe?

or, he's an azzablue lookalike and they were mistaken, and having read azza's posts don't believe his cousin when he says he's from Adelayback

This, and he's capable of developing skills let alone confidence.

If Voss gets the job, I'm sure he will leave no stone unturned and work around the clock with every player to get them thinking positively of team, selflessness, role and ability.

I don't think his wife and family will get too much of his time.

He is a competitive beast, and has a desire to succeed let alone turn the tables on his previous stint as coach.
He would have learned a lot from his previous coaching stint and his time at Port with all those quality assistants and Hinkley's successes and failures.

I like both candidates and glad the half hearted Lyon and not fully energised Clarkson are not in the running and blurring the ability to find best AVAILABLE.

PhhhaaaaarrrrK

I'm rapped.

So much for no one wanting to coach Carlton.

He's no Bradbury as jim likes to think.

he's qualified to take the job.

Hello Nigel Lappin...Vossy calling...its time to fast track development. Scarlett? Are you coming too?

Lloyd better make sure Austin stays on track and gets us some beauties and doesn't get bent over by WCE.

Its the era of high performance!
