Pros:
Did it for Serge
Squared the ledger
Walsh, Kennedy and Dow had 16 clearances between them
McKay and the rest of the team in that last quarter

Cons:
The first 2.5 quarters

Happy lockdown...

The ledger is squared.

As Hornet mentioned.

Fight back and grit without a structure was fascinating.

Fairweathersoftocks quiet as they will never praise Teague for the win.

That final quarter has to be the coming of age, if it can be done it must be done, always.

Jack. Essendon* levels of bravery.

Walsh is not one of the best young players in the comp. He's one of the best players in the comp.

We beat Collingwood. Forget nonsense like hating St kilda and getting annoyed by Geelong. This is Collingwood. We must beat them.

Game plan noticeably changed in terms of run, carry and 30-40m kicks instead of 50+m bombs.

Hope that was coaching because it was right.

Cons... Nearly 3 quarters of brain dead execution and planning that Collingwood exploited not playing well themselves.

We went on what was seen. Yes, it was dreadful. Individuals win us games rather than a system or plan. Take out Walsh and we are stuffed.

17 players and staff from the GWS v Sydney game out and have to isolate for 14 days.

Kicked 9 of the last 10. Turned a disaster into a 5 goal win.

Sure, and if we had lost you would have jumped all over him like wild apes.

Great last quarter and a half
Did Serge proud in the end
Walsh BOG
Kennedy very good
Eddie, JSOS, Stocker, Weitering and Dow all good
H’s last quarter. We just need to get it into him a lot quicker and finally did in the last quarter
First 2.5 quarters pretty average so there’s certainly a bit to work on too

I think we rotated the midfield well, left us fresher in the last.

Now the penny has dropped....Dow circa 22, 23, 24 might be abit special with some luck.

Also loving the Raging bulls in Stocker and Kennedy. Kennedy might have finally found the perfect recipe of weight vs speed, agility, power and strength.

Slot a rampaging Charlie into this forwardline roaming far and wide (leaving Harry inside 50) and defenses will have their hands full.

If Crippa comes back in next week, put him in the forward pocket alongside Harry and leave the onball brigade as they are to get some further symmetry happening.

Well done Blues.

Walsh IS the best young player in the comp.

There can be no debate. End of story.

If this was a local footy club you'd be putting in exemptions to getting Charlie qualified for finals.

Definitely not getting ahead of myself.

This! Stock is pretty much an old fashioned 80s Carlton player. Big credit to SOS for getting him through the door for a pick downgrade

Watching the game I sensed the other players started to emmulate Walsh's poise and decision making; especially in traffic and around the stoppages. Task one in the team review, set everyone homework to learn to dispose the ball like our number 18. It may seem simple but I do believe I saw something in the decicsion making of sammo, Kennedy, Dow and others. Just hold onto the ball and avoid the tackle, then make a disposal.

Was going to say that. Play Cripps forward until Charlie returns.

We have a decent record when Cripps doesn't play. Others who we thought we average step right up when they get to play a familiar role. Cripps is a decent contested mark and may handle playing forward well.

Sorry why would we praise Teague ??

How good did he coach against pies rd 2 , swans , eagles and gws , let’s get grip we played a bottom 4 side and we should of been down by 6
Goals at half time

But Walsh /jsos said don’t worry boys comes with me , and we will get you home

Jsos ruck work in the last qtr cant be underestimated in the centre square plus a huge clearance

Let’s not forget Walshs goal / celebration, Harry’s 4
Goals , betts goal ,jsos mark and stocker hit on michocek at the end !!
