After a crappy start to the year we have equalled last year at 7-10. Better than 4-9. 3 of the last 4. Could argue we handed Geelong last week's game.

Bam Bam and Walsh is a good combo moving forward.

Need one more... Curnow is good but not for the future and maybe Cripps not the answer but the aura of Cripps demanding attention is a positive. I am sure the coaching team will work this out.

Thank goodness. That last quarter was a huge turnaround and thoroughly enjoyable.
Kennedy, Walsh, Dow, Stocker, Williams, Betts, Fisher, JSoS, Martin, Saad put in 4 quarters.
Harry’s last was awesome but he needs to do that more often. SPS is definitely a half forward/mid.
TDK came back well after being beaten early, as did Jones, Plowman and Newman.
Curnow, Newnes and Cottrell lifted in the last but bloody needed too!!!
We are still in the race. It’s up to us now plus some luck.

Sorry why would we praise Teague ??

How good did he coach against pies rd 2 , swans , eagles and gws , let’s get grip we played a bottom 4 side and we should of been down by 6
Goals at half time

But Walsh /jsos said don’t worry boys comes with me , and we will get you home

Jsos ruck work in the last qtr cant be underestimated in the centre square plus a huge clearance

Let’s not forget Walshs goal / celebration, Harry’s 4
Goals , betts goal ,jsos mark and stocker hit on michocek at the end !!

He's an excellent coach and we are lucky to have him - consider he has no support structure makes it even more amazing.

Love what JSOS, Kennedy, Walsh, Stocker, Dow and SPS (late) bring. Still baby faced kids in footy terms, but looked good as a combination.

McKay was unstoppable once he was given 50-50 contests.

Walsh has that Selwood and Voss aura without the FIGJAM or weak knees.

Fisher needs to take the first option and improve his poise under pressure. Hope Lochie can get a game.

Williams can't take a trick with injuries.

Spot on we don’t win that game without Jacks ruck work in the last quarter

We went on what was seen. Yes, it was dreadful. Individuals win us games rather than a system or plan. Take out Walsh and we are stuffed.

Sure, and if we had lost you would have jumped all over him like wild apes.

Walsh, our performance in the second half is the reason we are so frustrated with our first half, and with most of our games this year. That is the level we should be playing at week in, week out. But we constantly get displays like the first half, where our performance is nowhere near fulfilling our potential.

I'd love nothing more than for Teague to be the genius coach you think he is, and I'll be the first eating humble pie if he turns it around from here, but we can only comment on what we see.

Credit to you for your loyalty to Teague though. I'm truly amazed and impressed that you're able to maintain the support after the season we've had

I dont understand your point - but I feel Dow is still abit way off it no tackles today - again. What he did was good but if a mid doesnt tackle then he shouldnt play AFL football imo.

Teague is an excellent young coach the best we have had since Brett Ratten and potential to be even better with the right support around him.

All professionals in the industry rate Teague as a coach from Eagles to Crows.

Now the penny has dropped....Dow circa 22, 23, 24 might be abit special with some luck.

Also loving the Raging bulls in Stocker and Kennedy. Kennedy might have finally found the perfect recipe of weight vs speed, agility, power and strength.

Slot a rampaging Charlie into this forwardline roaming far and wide (leaving Harry inside 50) and defenses will have their hands full.

If Crippa comes back in next week, put him in the forward pocket alongside Harry and leave the onball brigade as they are to get some further symmetry happening.

Well done Blues.

Regards Cazzesman

I'd like to see Crippa take some of the rucking duties around the ground. Boundary throw ins are more body on body than jumping into each other so I wouldn't be too concerned about him physically. He'll hold his own and once it goes to ground he'll have a massive mismatch against the opposing ruckman. We'll essentially have an extra mid and he won't be exposed on the spread as his opponent will be a ruckman rather than a zippy midfielder.

We've found some key pieces of the puzzle over the past month. Kennedy, Dow, Stocker, JSOS have all cemented their place in our best team and will only get better. Finally we're starting to get the best out of some of these young kids and not just relying on Walsh, Weiters, Harry, Cripps. Kennedy and Dow have added so much to the midfield mix.

Hopefully we can see some of SPS, Setterfield, Fisher, O'Brien do the same soon. That's where the improvement is going to come from. Then next year throw in Cunners, Kemp, Honey, Philp, Carroll, Ramsay

I doubt Dusty tackles much, should he play AFL?

Not supposed to beat the Swans at the SCG, Eagles as they are well above us.

Last two years have certainly been better than the previous 5 or 6. Gone 20-25 and in touch near every game since he come here, something alot better than 4 from 45 and 100pt defeats previous. Tough to do alot when players play for the pay cheque and don't work that hard. That becomes uncoachable in any sport.

That last 1 1/2 qtrs, and generally the last 4 weeks, is something I hope we are going to continue to see. Even last week was decent and we basically handed the game to the Cats. Should have been a cliff hanger at least even with a depleted side. Hopefully something is changing. Just one game out of the 8 with North (admittedly very improved) to come. Hope that drives some motivation.

Talk about a Jekyl and Hyde football team
Their best is the best in the league their worst is by far and away the worst.
Great for JSOS a goal a specky a torp and a few hit outs against a leading ruckman.
Kennedy good again
Great game from Martin
Weiters is a star
Harry was brilliant in the last half
Walsh time to call it even after 50 odd games He is the GOAT
