At least we won but How about lack of composure kicking for goal in the last quarter Fogarty SPS H Owies must nail those shots One goal would have broken their back Walsh outstanding Jones Saad good Kennedy and Dow good and Dow needs to play every week . TDK also needs to play every week Murphy no more isn’t fit and can’t put on pressure Why wasn’t Ed playing on Laird from the start SPS better Martin and Williams better but Martin must also nail those shots Shocking start again and thank goodness crows were off line in kicking |

Would have been a decent size win if we kicked properly at goal in the last qtr. |

Take the win but a lot of work to be done We still have no idea how to step on the throat of a team. No goals in the last quarter. The win was much the same as vs Hawks and Suns. Still a lot better than the alternative Walsh outstanding as was Jones Weitering also very solid Dow and Kennedy need to keep playing - both showed enough Saad also good Take the win but a lot of work to be done |

Not whether we win or lose, it’s how we go about it. Not convincing, same old issues. “Honourable” win? |

Second quarter was nice. Poor kicking in the last made it closer than it should have been. I've never been a huge fan of Dow but I thought he was good today. I know it's only a win against another poor side, but compared to the last few weeks we looked far better and like we were playing for each other. |

Stocker probably best game. Williams really good. Walsh = Walsh. Kennedy saving his career. Plowman very important to all those who think we’d be better off without him. Jones ditto. Still didn’t tackle enough. Did seem more of a team ethos and we didn’t allow the easy turn overs as much as we have, though probably helps playing a worse side. |

Crows overran the Saints in a similar situation, I still think we did well to win. |

Won playing 15 minutes of football Crows are 1.5 years into a rebuild Carlton are 5.5 years into a rebuild A win isn’t necessarily a win if you know what I mean Where is Carlton plan for the future Will there be one after this review Positives I thought DeKoning was really good O’Brien is no mug Stocker very good Owies is a smart footballer Still want to see Ramsay Honey and Carroll before the years out And Charlie |

Kennedy has added some much needed hardness to our midfield and Dow is growing in confidence - glad to see him crack the magic 20 possessions today. Stocker looks the goods and I hope he can develop a tank to play midfield. SPS played with more intent however still needs to do more. Fogarty really needs to improve his kicking for goal to justify his spot in the side. I was happy with our rucking today and don't think me missed Pittonet. |

one of the best things might be that Kennedy, SBS, Dow all spent decent project time in reserves to work on middle-field skill set and it shows (Setters too in his week back before injury at training). Kennedy was playing well for many weeks before they put him back in the team in a newish role. takes the pressure of Cripps and Walsh and so Cripps gets into it in the second not having to do everything and cuts losoe for first time this season. gives me confidence some of the coaches know what to do to develop third and second tier players. maybe it's time Martin spent some time in reserves? he certainly has only just started showing a bit since coming into the team from injury. still think the coaches game plans and ability to move players around to counter opposition tactics and momentum is less than what Parkin/Britten were capable of decades ago. |
