Best 22 players missing due to injury from tonight's game:

DeKoning
Curnow
Marchbank
Silvagni
Martin
Fisher
Newman

... and possible replacements for the above also injured:

Parks
McDonald
Carroll
Kemp

and we still have a really good team fronting tonight to bring home the chocolates.

Home Game: The (Blue) Boys are Back in Town.

Setterfield is being played out of position. One bad game and he is out of the team ... thats not team selection integrity.
Also Cunningham named as an emergency. He has been injured and needs to come back and win his spot in the team. Even naming him as an emergency is not team selection integrity.
Stocker has been playing well in practice matches. He should at least be one of the 4 emergencies.

Dow needed to be dropped so a big tick for match committee for doing that. Kennedy deserved a shot as did McGovern (though I am not convinced he is in our best side).

Go Bluebaggers!

Setters has been bad in all 3 games he’s played this year.

In retrospect he has not had a good year. In round 1 he was ok.

While admitting that I was a bit off in my assessment of his form, I nonetheless believe that they are playing him out of position. I think we would see a far better Setters if he was in and under and not stuck out on a wing.

One thing I like is, we have a truckload of injuries but that's still a pretty good squad we're putting out there tonight.

Reckon port will get us though, just too many strong bodied midfielders for us. I'm more confident about Bris next week.

What are Port doing with their rucks? They've dropped Ladhams I notice - he was very good against us last year.

Ed to run with Boak. 3rd for score involvements, easily their most clearances. He's their class around the ball.

Setterfield playing in his favoured (?) position in the midfield in the VFL today.

Half time. He's played a half in the midield and he's been a big fail thus far. Fumbling.

I'm listening to Casey Radio.

One mate there says he is not switched on, and fumbling. not attcking the ball.
WTF is a midfielder suppose to do? get the nut, attack the ball. I'm afraid he's just badly out of form.

I will give a call to Big Gartos whose there, to hear his perspective.

I agree on both points.

Yes I think Port will be too good. We came close last year however they were doing a "fly in fly out" routine which would have been a major disadvantage.
