A 45 point win

BOG a toss up between Walsh Cripps jones Fogarty McKay ....Inhavent even seen the stats yet.

Walsh is a phenomena. His disposals usually count.

Glad to win by 1 point let alone 45.

We were 46 up at half time and 62 points during the third.

Dow pick 3 beat Cerra pick 4 on the day. Neither were stars but hey...it's about them.

Go Blues

Solid win, will take it. Some outstanding individual performances (hard to pick our best this week!), played out of their skins for maybe a half and a bit. Really need to keep the foot on the throat in these types of games where we should be expected to win well.

Break another table tonight Teaguey, keep the intensity up and go for two on the trot next week. Go Blues!

Good win. Near every sides pulls the pin on pressure when 10 goals up in the 3rd qtr and the margin comes back, unless the opposition is absolutely woeful, like North and St.Kilda on the weekend.

That's a good win. We still have a few to come back.

Fogarty is a revelation - very happy with him right now.

Parks was OK, I think he will be given another shot next week, and although I didnt see a lot of Cotts I hope they persist with him as well.

Its always a good to get a win!

Liam BOG by a mile, Silvagni excellent and Fogarty my new favourite player.

Take that attitude into next week please.

Casboult, Betts and Cottrel will be lucky to get picked.

Good win, should have put the foot down a bit more but as said, most teams dial it back with that kind of margin.

Liam Jones was back to doing Liam Jones things.

Casboult just didn't come into the season fit. Like him to get his fitness and confidence in the 2s. Gov in to replace him after his effort yesterday, looking way fitter, but means either Harry or Jones will have to relief ruck.

Fogarty is like a little pitbull. Gotta love his intent and never wasted the ball.

Good win few brainfades but mauled the opposition when everything considered.

I'll play another pitbull in Stocker and give Dow a run in the 2nds to get used to finding the ball and making smart decisions.

Glad to win
Next step is to be ruthless and belt sides when we get the chance
Harry should’ve kicked 10 at least
Walsh is our best number 1 pick ever
Much better game by a lot of last weeks offenders
Levi is well and truly finished as an AFL player

Nice win. Certainly some positives to take from it.

Did we play all that much better today than the first two rounds? I would say we played a bit better today (our pressure was stronger for longer), and it was enough to comfortably account for a so-so Fremantle, but I doubt it would have been enough to beat Richmond or Collingwood.

That is to say that I don’t think we were as wrist-slashing bad as some claimed in the past fortnight, but we still have a way to go to beat the top sides.

Take the win, reflect on both the positives and weaknesses in equal measure, and focus on being better next week.

Yes, this was a much better game. now they must be told that this is the benchmark.

Not alot of sides keep the pressure on when 10 goals up so quickly. I was hoping to get to 75pts just to sit in the 8 for a day...lol.

Levi came into the season way too underdone. A fit, confident Levi is a good player, one lacking confidence and fitness is generally pretty useless. He, like Dow, needs a run in the twos for a while to regain some confidence. Gov in to replace him.

If we played with that intent we beat Collingwood. We weren't far off with no intent.

Very special mention to jones tonight who I reckon was best on ground.

Cripps - amazing
Walsh - outstanding
McKay - great and wonderful but honestly he should have kicked 10+ tonight
Fogarty - great pick up
JackSOS - surely in our best 22 now?

Dow - useless. Give up on him. Give some opportunities to other kids
Levi - if DeKonig was fit he wouldn’t be playing
Betts - love him. Always will. And so happy he kicked a special goal in he’s 200 Carlton game. But I think he’s past it. But bloody hell I loved seeing him looking to the crowd when he slotted it though/ that’s special

Maybe. We certainly would have got closer.

I personally reckon we haven’t totally gelled as a team yet. Let’s hope for more improvement next week

Good game, should've won by a lot more but I'll take it after the last two weeks.

I don't understand the lack of love for Cottrell, his effort and intent is up there with the best, he'll only improve with more time in the seniors.

Walsh, Fogarty, Cripps, Jones and McKay were the top 5 on the ground. Docherty, Curnow and Weitering really solid today.

Silvagni tries his guts out every week, makes the opposition really work for it, deserves a spot in the 22.

I'm not sure what Casboult offers us that Oscar couldn't.

Can't get too ahead of ourselves after that win. Need to do the same thing to Gold Coast next week.

The margin during the Freo game gives us perspective on percentage and how the game unfolded

What we saw, most of the time, was a manic desire to win the ball and close down space against the Dockers.
Shows we can do it. Tough at the contest when it counts: from the start.

As fatigue set in we went back to corralling, labouring to run back and defend, half hearted attempts to spoil and tackle and shepherd.
Fatigue truly set in as the game wore on, but we did have a 62 point lead.
Mind you, there were players who corralled in the first half; the usual culprits, but hey we are 62 points up

But we faded as a team. We were 62 up at the 20 minute mark of the 3rd.
It was quite even after that, but they won after this time, and salvaged a 45 point loss.
We don't have the fitness to go into killer drive.

This new game needs players who can run a long time. I know Cottrell is but....imo need more from him.

Levi wasnt needed in any of the KPF contests the way we were bringing the ball to Harry. So he's useless, if Pitto keeps on going.
Murphy
Betts
Cottrell
Dow

our weakest links tonight.

Walsh was my BOG, in terms of class, but Crippa with 2 goals, gotta bow to him.

Silvagni set the tone for the forwardline. He is best 18 any day of the week.
McKay is a great mark. Imagine when he gets strong to stop his weekly autumn leaf falls
Jones phenomenal and a phenomena.
Fogarty's first half amazed me.
Doc was back to his best, and physical
Saad is the best disposing the ball when he's been caught.
Williams may not have won the ball himself in every close contest but he bubbled it out of everyone's possession when it was hot.
Newnes is tough and hard runner. Contested hard, but even he fatigued, and he's super fit.
Samo Petrovski-Seton was incredible in close. twinkle toes. We don't have anyone like him. No one does. He's all class. Time stops.

I thought Weiters was a bit off today. Not hard edged. Didnt play close. Handing over Taberner to Plowman to take Plowmans opponent Walters who had scored a goal wasn't at all sound thinking. Blame it on fatigue? But he's not a midfielder.

That's what Im thinking too Jim.

Casboult is gone. Gone since round 7 last year. Up till then he was in AA contention after being a laughing stock prior. Well he's back to that again I'm afraid. Do him a favour. Put his out to pasture...unless its to straighten us up.

Regardless, he's a liability. Can't run.

100% with you on that.

pitbull....apt

Fog won me over today.

He runs so hard he can't kick long, let alone to goal. He can pass, safely, when fatigued

Pitbull
