Section S114 for me.

Happy to catch up for a chat...they sell vegan bratwurst there.

My shout.

I am going up for this game too.
Haven't booked my tickets yet.
A week or so ago I thought I was going to have to cancel the trip so looking forward to it now.

After listening to Teague’s post game media conference, I very much doubt Betts will be dropped.

Assuming Williams and everyone else pulls up OK, we might have a rare “no change” lineup this week.

Eddie did a lot of the one per centers that do not show up in the stats. He won't be dropped.

Who do you bring in for Levi. Only McDonald as a like for like and he can't ruck. But the way Levi is going, neither can he.

Murphy will not get dropped but should.

Parks played ok for a first gamer.

Give Dow a couple of more games. He is playing better than Murphy.

Another runner would be nice. Cuningham or Stocker.

And listening again.....sounded like Dow won’t be dropped

Eddie was part of the reason Mckay had so many free runs at the ball, selfless blocking of his opponent . None of the other smalls have done that, he stays

Its interesting.

Like the cliche goes, "one week at a time", but maybe Teague is looking to the future. There's another 19 games to play in 2021.
With 8 more games before the bye, there's plenty of time for Teague to see Cuningham and Stocker if they keep pushing for selection, before Martin and Fisher are back from injury, and maybe Newman. So the team may have only one change against the GCS, with Setterfield for Cottrell.

Then after the bye we have the run home to the finals: 10 games. This is when we expect to see Charlie back in the forwardline, Marchbank, if he's fit and had a half dozen games under his belt. I'm sure Kemp and Carroll will be putting their hand up too. My man Honey played his first game on Saturday and kicked a couple. Then there's Durdin who could be anything.

I don't think Dow was that impressive yesterday. He got involved, and handballed whenever he could. Quick hands. But he showed none of that burst speed he is there for. I don't think this will be his year, but Teague may just give him the time needed to get there. I'm not holding my breath.

The season has just started for us. Belief vs GCS is going to be huge for us.

He's smart. Teague and the MC wouldn't have missed those blocks etc.
The players in the review will notice it too.
Hopefully it rubs off on the others.

Likely no changes.

Teague loves Betts and Casboult. To be honest Casboult is the relief ruck, even though he's not lighting things up he's hard to drop.

Williamson might come in for Parks though it's tough dropping the kid after he acquitted himself reasonably well.

Parks and Cottrell must stay

Both offered way more than those they replaced.

No change for me.

Not a hope in hell. Parks isn’t going anywhere on that form.

I love Eddie and glad he's on our side - but watching the replay it was partly selfless blocking and partly grabbing jumpers and holding - lucky wasn't pinged a few times and we would have been ropable if he was an opposition player....Wasn't a good look for me.

True

One of those blocks should have been called. Eyes not on the ball.

But then Eddie has been around a long time and knows what the best teams do to have an edge; maybe he is doing what the AFL allow....the top teams.

Who knows? Umpires don't. AFL does....there's always an agenda with the AFL Commission.

Anyone for Dow would be a good result. Need to get games into Stocker and stop wasting time on a spud who can't get a dozen possessions a game as a midfielder in a winning team. You could put Williamson on a wing and he would get more than 11 possessions and would use them much better than Dow.

This is what other teams do to our defenders all the time, if you don’t do it you are at a disadvantage.

I’d switch Kennedy for Murphy, but given that won’t happen I’d vote for no change (my assumption is that Setterfield was never in) and make Kennedy the sub instead of Oscar.

Setterfield can bust the door down via the VFL along with Guv.

Casboult isn't setting the world on fire or anything, but my word did he get to a lot of contests.
