I just want to say that it pisses me off when a team like Sydney comes out and thoroughly beats Richmond.
Why are we not able to do that?
(The only similar one I can remember of late was against the Bulldogs last year).
Just saying.

Agree 17th - annoys me too
But I think you’ll have the answer as to why we can’t do it in about an hour when the teams are announced
Sydney back their youth in, develop them properly and actually play players on merit
They also have their academy which helps
We talk about making statements and then pick players who aren’t performing and don’t play with the right intent just because they’ve been around for 10 years

We have 22 x 1st Round picked players, including 3 x No. 1's and 5 x 2nd round picked players.

Of the First Rounders waiting for development/ recall are McGovern, Kennedy, OBrien and Cuningham, and for Development Stocker, Philp and out injured are Curnow, Kemp and Marchbank.

So 13 x 1st Round picks were in last week's team and 2 x 2nd Rounders.

Who needs an Academy?

Something not right about this rebuild/ Development imo, but we have enough good players to build a Premiership team.

We are depending on good Development and a Coach to get us there....having to go through the pain of the last 5 years and still waiting has more painful that led to believe.

So how did the Swans turn things around so quickly? It can't all be ACADEMY recruits. There's only 4 or 5 of them.

We have a loser mentality and other teams always believe they can beat us cause we have been so bad for so long. We are the new Fitzroy. I dont have any confidence that we will beat the Dockers. This loser mentality extends to the fans including me.

Doe anyone know why owies hasn't had a look in yet. Looks like he is nearly always on the board.

Never been confident about this rebuild. Can’t recall a period over the last 6 years where I truly felt we were developing and heading in the right direction. Where are those string of games where it felt like we had arrived.

Too many misses with player and game development. Was always dependent upon our early draft picks to provide the impetus to climbing the ladder. Has not come to fruition.

When you have an average player like Ed Curnow still being a key player in your midfield, then you realise we haven’t made much progress.

Can't have Walters for the Moran... He's too good, even after injury... Brennan Cox (who? ) is playing his 50th... so gets my vote

Mental toughness and cracking in all game will get us the win. Just want to see no compromise in effort and accountability.

Danger game for us, but on paper we are very talented and dangerous.

She will crucify us tomorrow. There will be no resurrection!
Would have to be one of the worst umpires of modern time. Atrocious decision making and clearly anti- Carlton.
Nevertheless I will watch her closely.

Don’t think she’s anti-Carlton but she’s certainly incompetent, Nathan Williamson is clearly anti-Carlton and a dead set cheat when he umpires us.

Grandstand seat row A.

Just went best available, I think there will be more Carlton supporters there being holidays so didn't bother looking for a Carlton area
