It's time for some aggressive, contested footy.

Yet, as a player, Teague highly valued accountability and aggressive, contested footy.

Purchased flights and accommodation for the Gold Coast game, what are the chances the AFL move it?

Fingers crossed Betts is selected and starts in best 18.

If he's in good nick, I expect him to show what he's made of.

He will fire up the young ones to apply pressure, not with words alone, but also his natural instincts.

Not a popular opinion but Betts should have played last week, if not round 1.
I know he isn't the player he was but his leadership in our forward line is crucial right now.

agree. Plus I'm tipping last week Quaynor feels a lot more comfortable lining up on Murphy as opposed to Betts.

O Mac playing 2s. As are Kennedy, Cunners and Stocker
No sign off Levi ang Murphy so looks like they may somehow have survived the axe

Forget age.

Who is better than Betts in a Forward pocket?

They need to be able to kick goals, run to up the ground for defensive support, pressure acts, tackles, smother, no fear....and leadership and experience...nah, no one can bring that like Betts.

Betts has plenty to offer.

I know kids need games to develop...but we've been doing that for 3-4 years now, so where are they?

Look after the WINS and get development in the VFL sorted first.

So after a week of saying we need to 'make a statement', it appears that Murphy, Plowman and Levi have survived the axe, whilst McDonald, Stocker and Cunners play 2s again. Just @#$%&! astounding.

So have I.
I think at this stage it is going ahead in Qld.
I really didn't want to have to cancel another trip so fingers crossed it will go ahead.
