Catch up football

"Honourable loss"

"5 goal head start to the opposition"

"0-2 to start the season"

Teague not showing much so far; combined with the legacy of SOS' terrible list management.

Youngsters stagnant - SPS, Dow, Setterfield not progressing.

Cripps off his best.

Tonight was the 20th time in 30 games under David Teague that Carlton has conceded a 30-point run within a match. @AFLcomau

Same shit. Different year. You can bring in classy players but it takes years to change a culture, to find that real will to win on a consistent basis, not just every so often.

As Judd said when he first came. At West Coast players talk about flags, got to Carlton and all they spoke about was the next contract. Still hasn't changed

Loser club. Doesn't matter how good we are in theory, we shit the bed every time. Not sure where we go from here - can't see us being any good for another 3-4 years at least.

Time to face reality... we have an ordinary list... too many undersized, poorly skilled players and a coach with training wheels.

Another wasted year...

Another year round 2 comes and we don't turn up to play after a promising round 1.

Problem is that it does. It @#$%&! hurts. Every week. Every hopeful pre season. Every recruit that doesn't make a difference. Every failed coach. It @#$%&! hurts

Cripps needs to sign on.
Carlton have spent years winning in November and December winning during the season doesn't matter

Time to bring in some fresh faces.

Casboult was terrible.

Liam Jones's decision making is a liability. Plays like he is suffering from PTSD.

Williamson was unsighted and needs a spell in the seconds.

Defensive forward 50 pressure was almost non-existent.

That was one of the worst umpiring displays -- the inconsistency was unbearable.

Gibbons, Fogharty, McKay and Martin are the only ones that can say they won they direct battle. A bit demoralized to be perfectly honest. We haven't progressed very far I am afraid.

Once again, so much poor delivery into the forward 50.

And smashed in clearances.

We’re terrible and have topped up thinking we are a chance.

I didn’t see any positives tonight. Yep Williams shows plenty but he is already trying to do too much cause or rabble around him.

Ask yourself a question how many of our best 18 would get a game for any of the top 4 teams?

Weiters, cripps? Walsh? Saad? Williams? Maybe?

Anyone else? Seriously.

I would let cripps go. If this game style hangs around all year his value is going to fall. If I were carlton I’d hold off resigning. We won’t.

I'm starting to seriously worry about him. He's either cooked or his heart is no longer in it. There is something seriously wrong with the man

No leadership on the ground.
How Murphy ever captained this club is beyond me.
Docherty looks lost, Cripps either burnt out or checked out.

Thought McKay tried against a very good player and Gibbo earned his cheque.

Not sure there’s much more to say

Lost by 3 goals and 3 behinds

About right.

Don't shit me about the umpires.

We shot ourselves in the foot.

Saad amazing. 2 weeks in a row.
Harry good...wish he kept his feet more
Fish ok
Gibbo deserves his spot: footballer
We was Setters. Murph was worse.
Ed is a warhorse. Average footballer
DeKoning couldn't get back soon enough

Out coached? Just asking. Dunno

Midfield led by Cripps pantsed 2 weeks in a row. Cripps? Where were you?
Pitto doesn't help but ffs you slipped fumbled and grumbled.

We had them there....but....let down by a few

Pies the better team. Carlton more passengers.

Can't believe how close we were during game.

Laughing stock of the AFL

I have stated this a few times but the acceptance of defeat over this rebuild has set us back

Loser mentality doesn’t change overnight

We are the St kilda of the 21st century

40-65 tackles, we had 4 at quarter time. I called game over then.

As for changes, time for Murphy, Levi and Ed to be replaced. Fresh blood who have the hunger to remain best 22 each week.

Ed is no use to us anymore if he can’t shut a player down. Rather o’Brien who has the same running capacity, but better disposal.

Pittonet is having a crack, can’t fault him, but De Koning can turn the game at the centre bounce. We need him back.

Why do we continue to try to outshoot teams in the first half? Bring the defensive pressure every week, non negotiable every week. You fail play in the reserves.

Murphy even had the hide to take a dive in the last quarter.
