The way we are going, probably McKay will do his ankle and Saad will do an ACL in the first quarter.

Becoming quite fatalistic.

As a matter of interest and I have no idea of who our medical staff are, if this deplorable run of injuries which have been happening for years, why not change the said medical staff.

Such steal the tiges or import the bears.

Its not the medical staff it is the shrink. Players are mentally weak and if you are mentally weak you are physically weak.

We have the worst shrink in the competition

We couldn’t squeeze Cunningham into the 26? He must be injured

That is a pretty average side. Trying to be positive, but I can't see any area where we are better than them.

Perhaps if our lot play with absolute desperation for 100 minutes it won't be a blow out.

May we channel the spirit of our round 3 2001 side...

I am not sure why O'Brien is in over Cunningham!

I believe this too SB.

I've heard what she has to say, and heard about her philosophy, but that's about it.

Have you heard one single player say anything about the club's shrink?

It starts at the head.

Exactly what I've been doing since the Martin announcement.

I genuinely believe we can win this if the fitness level of our first 30 is where Russell suggests they are at.

Only have to win that nut, and force turnovers.

Expecting Saad to put on a show Houli would normally display. Tables turn? We will see.

Just glad my team is playing tonight. Its a great feeling.

Then after the game its a case of agony or ecstacy.

If we win ... :gift:

I'm going with not much hope. As you say, player v player, we barely have a winner based on the named sides.

What I want to see is hard work from the outset, and an end to our "asleep for 25 minutes then come flying home to lose by 4 goals"

So at what point of the game will the usual suspects in the media start the "Carlton don't deserve the season opener" crap?

No umpire 22 - that has to be a big plus

Running a pool on at what point I take the dog for a walk. I'm leaning towards 20 minutes into the first quarter.

Already happened. Our good friend Kane was at it on Monday night.

This has to be least excited I've been about a season opener in years.
