great work by Austin what is the big deal pretty basic stuff , freo we want p6 , hewett car 4 yrs deal syd could not keep even try to trade him in 2020,young came as surprise but his from dogs were Austin had a connection so again no big deal. I am happy with recruits but Austin work was pretty easy ,simple . We will see how he goes with p25.

Suspect we see Kennedy and Honey upgraded and we take a kid at pick 25 for the final list spot
With the re-signings and re-commitments yesterday, I think we are 2 players over capacity on the rookie list and have 3 senior list spots available which will necessitate 2 rookie upgrades among our 3 “live” picks
Generally happy with the re-signings and re-commitments
Hopefully snag a bargain at pick 25 as we need to continue topping up with quality youth coming in on basement contracts to manage salary cap and ensure list balance

Yep and I thought Saad was unfairly maligned this year seemed to be bracketed with Williams had a pretty good year Saad in my view

Martin and Williams with their talent and hopefully less injuries should be in top 10 next year

Has a player who's been delisted and then rerookied ever ended up anything other than a list clogger at a football club?

I know clubs do it and show loyalty to that player's development but I can't think of any success stories.

We’re hanging on to a lot of chaff. Short term contracts, sure, but chaff nonetheless.

It’s the safe play for the here & now, but we’ll need to be mindful of the mess that was made in the late 90s - early 2000s.

Totally agree,

SDaad was in the top 6. I thought he was top 4.

Saad added value, and maligned by.....I'll say it....keogh...a Carlton fan. Embarrassing to say IMO. That's all.
15 minutes of fame for keogh, and nothing to back it up with...with his defamatory baseless statements about Saad.

Forget pick 8, that's Austin's business. Look at Saad's output...enough said. :thumbsup:

How many players on our list of from that era?

Good to know we give a few players a second or third chance, under a new coach to prove they warrant a spot on the list in 2023
Come 2023, 3 players have to be drafted.
I think its a good strategy having an abundance of one year contracts for peripheral players.
