see, that's Ok.

Its neither wrong, nor right.

Its an opinion, and a POV re managers.

Cool.

i couldn't give four fifths of a @#$%&! about Saad's non dominant side.
Sam Walsh also kicks on the outside of his preferred foot when corralled. Once again I couldn't care because he's a gun player and his strengths overwhelmingly surpass his weaknesses.
All this does is highlight exactly what I've been saying. You focus on the negative of everything, I look past the negatives to see the overview. Saad has weaknesses but he was still good enough to finish top 3 in B&F's in 2019 and 2020. And despite carrying injuries, he'll finish high up in ours as well.
I'm rapt he's on our team and with a coach that will hopefully utilise his assets, I expect him to be an absolute star for us in 2022.

So as to your question about solutions, I don't see a significant problem to solve.

Hang on a minute
You want some solutions from me
I give one and you are just negative
Don’t you want us to get better

This is not negative
It’s a fact
14 of the last 21 years we have finished bottom 6
Why
According to the club it’s because of the last 6 coaches based on the their contracts not lasting the distance
Even you would acknowledge that there must be other reasons

Saad is overrated
He needs to be challenged to get better
All the little things count
Case in point
When we played WC reserves in Sydney the only guy that could win the game for them was Ryan
Argue that one
Good luck
Where was Saad.
Not playing on him
Neither was Williams
Neither was Docherty
The job for the entire game was handed to Stocker a kid in his 8 th or 9 th game

That my friend is [REDACTED]
It don’t make sense
I hope Voss challenges all the players
Saad has cost us goals chasing kicks not having a right side not been given the big jobs
He didn’t play on Toby either

So pull your head out of you know what
All things matter
You wrote yourself that the new coach must be innovative
How about making sure all players use both sides of their body
Play in multiple positions
That would make us harder to play against

As usual you can’t see the forest from the trees

You are blaming Saad for Teagues mantra to attack attack attack and try and score more than the opposition scores against us.

Teague had Stocker on Ryan for 3 of his 4 goals.

We were never going to win that game with that game plan. I was there.

Teague was an embarrassment on that day...you want to hang the players!!!

FMD, you just want to degrade Saad to make a point...any point...looking for trees for wood.

Saad isn't a problem for our team. He is a weapon.

Would you rather not have him on our list? No ...dont answer that qustion, I'm not interested in anti Saad crap.

"Play hard ball with the managers". What does that mean? Are you suggesting we offer pick 25 and that's our final offer or do you have some other idea?
If it's pick 25, we shouldn't embarrass ourselves, nor waste their time and just go immediately to the draft.

I love the idea that the third round pick we got for Samo is pretty much worthless but the future third we gave to Freo in the Cerra deal is extremely valuable.

Well it’s been another entertaining day on TC
Some of the crap that some posters have come up with today
Holy crap
The usual suspects
Time will tell as usual

I’ll say one other thing
The board have chosen Voss
Stick by him for 3 years
It’s been a common thread in premiership teams
This club needs above all else stability
Not sackings

I feel totally cheated.
We've still got a couple days to go in the trade period and our deals appear to be all done.
I had a cardiologist all booked for Wed and planned a boxing session for Tue afternoon to let off some steam but all that is now wasted - I even pulled out my Dodoro face sticker to put on the punching bag!
I tell you what, if we start putting other teams away next season by half way through the final quarter, I might just toss out my membership!!!

Sayers , Cook and Williams , if we can’t begin to win a few games of footy and some things right, next season and onwards, we may just never crawl out of the abyss.

edit: club have committed to re-rookieing both through the ND

Gibbons stiff to miss out to Sauce imo.

We have 36 players on the list. That gives us 2 selections in the draft.

We need to make 3 selections in the draft or upgrade a rookie.

Still need to delist one more player....I wonder if Austin shopped around LOB and there was no interest.

I reckon LOB may be delisted then re rookied. Swap spots with Kennedy and take picks 25 and 65? to the draft.

Am I right with those numbers? That's how I see it.

38 Players on senior list
8 Rookies
1 Cat B

So we have

33 Main List (2021 36 Players - Add Hewitt, Cerra, Young, Delist/Trade/Retire - Murphy, Cazbolt, Gibbons, LOB, Ramsay, SPS
6 Cat A Rookies (Mirkov, Boyd, Parks, O-Mac, Honey, Kennedy) plus 2 Rookies Committed to redrafting (LOB, Cottrell)
1 Cat B (Owies)

We can only have a maximum of 6 Cat A Rookies and we need to draft 3 players (incl Rookie Elevations), so I assume two will be promoted to senior list (Honey and Kennedy)

That would leave us with

35 Players on Main List (plus just the one draft pick to make 36)
6 Cat A Rookies
1 Cat B Rookie

We could have kept LOB on main list, but first $80k of Cat A Rookie wage sits outside the salary cap.

One good pick in the draft No 25-27...I'll be happy with a Goater or Teddy hopkins' boy for a wing or a Bazza, or those big boys Crusader mentioned for KP development

Great work by Austin and the team IMHO. Did their work early, had a plan and we go into next season with the best list we've had for a couple of decades.
