I’d like us not to cave when there’s expectation on us. Games like the Adelaide one where we had just farewelled Matty Kreuzer, who never gave our club less than everything and they honored him by putting in a performance so insipid it belonged in 2007. No more of that shit.

Exceeding Expectations = Top 4
Expectation = Top 8
Angry = 9 to 12
Nuke the planet = 13 to 18

I am from the old school.

Premiers or it is a nothing year.

If it becomes apparent no premiership, play the kids.

You think there will be 6 teams perform better than Carlton in 2021.

I can't. Of last year;s finalists:

Maybe Wet Toast turn things around playing more home games.
Brisbane perhaps, because they will have ample support from the AFL Commission, and home games anyway you look at it.

Port might beat a lot of teams in 2021, but it wont be Carlton.

Cats in Wheelchairs.
Umpires cooling off their Dusty immunity and pay frees against him...that are always there.
Saints honey moon was 2020 with the decline of Ryder in 2021.
Pies focus on end of 2021 to Merrett and not on the prize. They're on their way down anyway.
Doggies will not sober up after recruiting Treloar, Stefan may not be the answer in the ruck as he fails to make the field.

Those above us in 2020:

Delusional Dees will be focussed on contested ball and bomb it too much for Ben Brown who likes to lead.
GWS. We owe them, and they are on the way down.

Looks like I expect Carlton to end up 3rd or 4th in 2021. :gift:

My crystal balls say there will be a war (China?), and Carlton willl win the flag with a young coach when nobody expected us to.

(apologies to blueman)

If we navigated through five goal swings last season we would have come 6th. Expecting much more on proviso injuries are kind to us.

Provided injuries are kind I expect a finals win.
