We are made of glass for one reason or another. Prelim teams play their best squad all year.

But we have pretty good depth. Not sure how MC is going to see this but Jack and Betts is like for like.

Hope the club pulls their finger out and plays a reserves scratch match this week. I don't care who it's against but it will already be approaching 2 and a half weeks since any of them have played a game come Sunday. The club needs to get their shit together on multiple fronts.

Dunno missnaut.

I can't believe DeKoning has another 4 before we see him.

This is bullshit.

He wasn't sore the day after he was sore.

I don't know what to believe coming out of this club.

Its a farce.

Weeks or years?

Durability should be a key recruiting criteria going forward

We continually suffer by recruiting players who can’t stay on the park

And please don’t tell me that it is all based on luck

I smell a rat.
TDK mystery back injury but no pain.
Gov out with Hammy all the time.
Honey vanished off the face of the earth
SPS Obrien Plowman Fisher Dow Marchbank look like they have never seen a weights room and never bulk up.
Curnow and Kemp
Now even though they played out the games Martin and Fisher get 6 week injuries.

I'm a suspicious sort of person but I suspect that there is a culture problem that involves strikes

Still waiting for this show to be under lights on Broadway...

Patience is really running thin though.

Be strong in debate, Carlton.

By that I mean, come clean.

Either that or Wallsy will run the riot act

And in the mean time Richmond and Port almost have full squads to select from, I just don't get it.

And others who can't play on the park.

Nothing would surprise me any more. We are gone, done, cooked. Give Walsh and Weiters a one-way ticket to Tassie, we'll start again under new management, AFL will give us the special treatment, we'll be in the finals every year, all we have to do is give up our soul.

Is it a nice sweet Melbourne rat or a dirty stinking one from the harbour city? :smoking: :garthp:

Told Caleb Marchbank has suffered another injury setback. Leg, calf or quad. The blues injury update yesterday said he was in line to return to the VFL this weekend and looking really good. That’s not what has been indicated to me

Very disappointing if true. Can’t get on the park.
Browne also reports thumb injury to Carroll as others on here have already said

Said it at the time. Don't understand why we give a bloke with a proven ability to very rarely get on the park a 2 year contract. 1 year was sufficient. Unlikey another club would have come knocking.

Really saddens me.

Marchbank has the makings of an elite player.
Maligned from one game, his fiorst back vs Collingwood. One kick that was cut off, not inaccurate as some say.

Get him fit and see if he strings games for the rest of the season. Ditto Cuningham.

If their bodies can't withstand the rigours of AFL, no matter how good they are, they can't stand the rigours of AFL.
