Our ad revenue is down significantly and it means we won't have the funds required to continue sponsorship into next season.

See more here -> viewtopic.php?f=2&t=36762&p=2024311#p2024311

Thank you for those who have contributed personally over the many previous seasons.

It might be a blessing, given our track record.

Are we seriously going to pull the pin?

Maybe tax the serial posters on this forum?

We need around $3500 to maintain our current sponsorships and once we factor in site hosting, with the ad revenue we currently have, TC can maybe chip in $100.

That means the bulk would need to come from users and if we can do it, that would be awesome, but going on recent years individuals have contributed around $1000 all up (IIRC).

That’d be bloody sad.

It’s the main reason I joined.

Well done to all that have made this happen,
Happy to chip in but I suspect CB knows the score better than I..

Clearly we need Kim Kardashian or <insert vacuus personalty here> to start posting on the site...

Go Blues

I'd like it to keep going, and reckon with a bit of luck it could. That said, I have never contributed because I honestly can't stand the thought of the player being sponsored by TC and coming here and reading all the bad things written about them. It all seems so counter-intuitive.

$3500 for 2 players.

I'm guessing the female listed player costs less than the male listed player?

Maybe we choose 1.

At the end of the day, I'd rather have TC secure with liquidity, and drop the player sponsorship.

Maybe we can bank a few years of profit after paaying site and we go hard with 105% TPP later.

Camel, does TC have a 5 year plan?

I haven’t put in my own cash for sponsorship for many years, so not sure if I get a say, but I’d be happy to drop the men’s player sponsorship and stick with one of the women only, we seem to be much more successful with the women anyway.

Not sure if this is the right thread, but do we get any revenue from the ads displayed via Tapatalk?

Can you bounce a 'trial' set of numbers off us that might be achievable for us to throw around?

e.g. if we had 'x' members X '$y'= $'z' then we could do 'abc' level of sponsorship.

Then maybe a 'go fund me' page to try and reach the target.

Ya never know, that might also attract other outside help.

(just a newbie, so pls "don't shoot me")
(and maybe leave the algebra barbs out of it)

I can imagine that the add revenue is way down the site traffic is minimal these day's.
If you change your mind and decide to go ahead I will chip in 100
