Super effort from his "best mate" marC. Most short steps for the night. Leader. Brave. Get [REDACTED] cat

I dare say it's a game we pissed down the drain in the 2nd qtr, with help from the green glowing turds.

we have alot to work on, and now is the time to do it.

we sort out the bad quarter, the 5 goal streak ... and we are playing finals next year.

lets see if they can do it.

I hope the Teague we saw at half-time is the Teague that haunts the players' dreams over the offseason.

Not sure Eddie has another season in him.

He isn’t alone either.

Utmost respect for Kreuzer and Simpson
True champions of the game

Never shirked a contest
Unlike some in the second quarter
Deplorable
I just hope Teague uses it next year
We have some guys who. Pick and choose when to put 100% effort
I just hope Teague doesn’t play blokes who aren’t 100% fair dinkum

Umpires didn’t cause our second quarter lapse - but rogered us in the second half.

Murphy was absolute crap. He has been OK for the last month or so but there is no escaping it tonight.
Missed tackles, waiting for the opponent to get the footy. Not putting his body in front of the ball and calling for easy possessions.

It is interesting that when Cripps went off, they played better. It might show they rely on getting it to him too much.

That one terrible quarter when thy insisted on trying to be cute with the rain sheeting down cost them. On the other hand, Brisbane attacked everything and kicked instead of handballing. U13 coaches would have told their kids just to keep the ball moving forward but not our coach. I commented on it during the game but at one stage in that second quarter, our deepest forward was in the centre circle. Nobody had the option to clear the footy long because there was nobody to kick to. Week after week after week. Same story.

On a positive note, Harry finished the year off the way he started it. He is a victim of our shit game plan. If he is allowed to stay deep, there will be no holding him back.

equal 4th in the afl for quarters won. shows how bad our worst is.

17-17 in 1st/2nd qtrs
22-1-11 in 3rd/4th qtrs

Pros:

3 good quarters.
Accuracy.
Harry and Walsh.
Jones and Plowman.
Pittonet good again. Nice to have 2 good young ruckman.
2nd half of Martin, Gibbons and Cuningham.
Liked the move of Williamson to midfield, and McGovern to recapture some confidence in defence (although strange waiting for the final game).

Cons:

Another diabolical quarter. Any chance the coach can learn to shut games down when opposition are in control, like every other coach in the competition?
Got absolutely murdered by the umps. 6 free kick goals to Brisbane. My 3 pet umpiring hates are when they reward duckers and divers, and ignore chuckers. Got the full house tonight.
Terrible selections from the match committee. Way too tall a team for any conditions, let alone the rain and greasiness of Queensland.
Casboult was horrible, following on from a horrible final 8 weeks.
I reckon Polson's shown more at AFL level this year. But kept turning it over, and again leaked multiple goals. I can see the improvement, but I fear for his future.

Yeah but because he's not the only one, he apparently gets a free pass.

Didn't get pantsed.

Bring on next year with Charlie and Harry up forward, marchbank down back, Newman straight in, JSOS fit, TDK with another pre season.

Other young players coming through.

Chin up, we will progress

the lack of fanfare for simmo's exit from the arena only magnified how overblown we made the same for Gibbs
