He does have this aura about him and he does put on pressure, in the hardest spot on the ground.

Plenty of kids in the draft if we want a small forward, or give some of the kids time to shine, Honey, Owies, Phillips etc.

We really need to move forward. Ed will still be around the club as a mentor.

As for Simmo, he has been a great club man, but his form has dropped off a lot this year. Time for some others to take us forward. With Kemp back, he will most likely start at half back, Newman is back, Marchbank is back too. Willo has a good first year back from his back problems, and showed plenty, although inconsistent.

Ramsey is one who is touted as able to play as a small defender. If his performances and effort at all warrant it I would be happy for him to be given a taste this week.

Newness my moves to defence, Gibbons and Cuningham into the midfield/wing and Owies into the fwd line. Kennedy also into the fwd line and can rotate through the middle.

I’d like to see Owies and Eddie play together. I’m sure Eddie will announce his retirement before the game.

Would love to see what this kid has got.

I knew our record in the final round has been disgraceful even in those few years we were above average, but that is truly depressing reading.
The fact that our players check out early every single year is a joke.

Even the 4 years we played finals we only won once. Even then we were horrible in the extreme for 2 1/2 qtrs then come home from 37pts behinds to win by a point, which got us into the finals. Familiar story.

After last week not sure they'll dare not have a crack this week. Teague was diplomatic but you could see he was seething deep down the way he said a couple of things. Hope that exploded out in private.

Looks like its going to happen at The Gabba this Saturday.

It really is a MUST WIN game for Teague this week.

The boys have to do it for Simmo.

Until each team plays each other the same number of times, the AFL, as a fair dinkum competition, cannot be taken seriously.

He (Mr Swann) said the honour and pride associated with the club's traditional navy blue jumper was priceless.

It seems unfortunately appropriate that Simpson's last game for us is likely to be a thrashing.

He's spent his whole career 'deserving better', so why change the script now.
