As I have said before As the season concludes you find out where you are at compared to the other 17 teams even in a shortened season We are an average side . On a good day we are ok but in the long run we are simply average Plowman very average 3 year deal yeah right panics shit kick Polson should have been delisted 2 years ago Murphy plays on next year wrong decision soft footballer when the heats on Setterfield soft slow average kick second to the ball He ain’t a midfielder cost us 2 picks Very overrated Martin is so overrated not just today. Other than the opening game very ordinary this year IMO Not taking that shot was pathetic Simpson c u later champ Casboult in the end a limited player although has got the most out of himself Pittonet has a crack but is back up at best Dow looks ordinary no more excuses still has 2 years to go on his contract McKay so soft OBrien top 10 pick unsighted this year Cunningham 3 year deal has impacted in only a couple of games this year I don’t know what it is but internally we overrate our list judging by the contracts handed out As I said the AFL is a level playing field Coaching no more Hird Voss Malthouse appointments All clubs have good facilities Soft cap Salary cap Drafting Free agency does advantage better teams but not by much It comes down to list management and recruiting We are crap compared to other teams And yes that includes SOS |

His form slump has come since we played two rucks. His more a forward/ruck than a full time forward. Yeah Nayh yeah The 21yo De Koning showed them all up today. Casboult and Pitto may not be the future; that's all We're a game out, the "now" is still happening, so we put our best ruck line up out there. Worry about the rest when we are out of contention, which could be Thursday. Even then, a win over the Swans and Adelaide gets us to 8-8 (or 9-7, tough playing GWS off a 4 day break though), which means the Brisbane game could decide things. Thinking we miss out but want to be a chance for as long as possible. That teaches us more than looking at the future for the rest of the year. We've done that for years. Best learning will be playing under pressure. |

OK Ive read the thread. There's no one telling us how good the mature leaders were today. I expect to hear from them when their faves have their one good game in 4. FMD if it isn't obvious. Other than losing...FMD...playing for frees instead of applying themselves...or, playing against talls with direspect when their bread and butter is smalls ... I can go on and you will know the culprits. PROS its 2020 and we are trialling a list full of first rounders and the last bastion of mature leaders ... or should I say dad's army? Just askin' CONS if we keep half this old brigade next year, we are going nowhere ... nah ... we will go backwards |

No one has blamed the coach yet, so I will. No plan B when collingwood obviously had our plan figured out. Big reason why they eventually got on top. |

I thought we busted our arses and played better than them in the third quarter but just could not get the score on the board. And then they ran over the top of us b/c we were exhausted and dropped our heads. I love the way so many people call for SPS and Murphy to be dropped so that young players who have miraculously become Brownlow medal winners whilst away from the spotlight can come in and dominate. But they never do. Stop bagging our better players - yes, they may stuff up here and there but They still do more than Polson and most of the younger players who are not ready. If they show something, by all means keep them in to learn e.g. Dow who was crap today but has shown plenty in the past, but with crap disposal. But if you think Dow or Polson (or Honey or Cottrell for that matter) are going to come in and carry us to victory, rocks in head. Teague has mostly been doing the right thing, bringing in one or two younger players here and there but keeping the more experienced players on the park and roughly the same structure. I am very disappointed in the result today but it shows where we are at. We have improved a lot but are still a 10-14 ranked team. Our best is eternal than that but we don’t yet have the consistency of intensity or concentration or skill to play at our best every minute of every game. Like Clarkson said about his powerful ?Hawks, we need to play harder and better for longer. |

Compare Daicos with Dow. Give Dow more games because I want to know if this guy is the real deal He seemed to want to get the ball out of his habds asap when he's a line breaker with breakaway speed. Need to see it before we trade him to Cats. He might just have it but we dont know. |

Cripps can go and get himself fixed up: upstairs and downstairs Casboult is...was my CHF for 202, but he was ultra disappointing. How ofetn do Levi and Murph play for the free? I'll leave the number to you...lets start with number of times for a match. De Koning Walsh Fish ... these kids are GOLD Dow might be, but need to see more. Martin could have been a hero ut something short there with his confidence. Williamson ... yeah mate ... take the game on ... I love it... but you need a right foot too...Simmo showed one when he needed. Willo has been aveage for mine this year. Had to say it. Yeah he may be the future, but FMD he loves to run into trouble and dpuble it in the one confrontation when he can Plow was really good against the smalls tonight. When are our defenders going to understand the importaaanxce of touch of the opponet to know ehere they are? ALL OF THEM. ALL OF THEM. |

But, lets go to the rucks if you like...what did you like about them and tell us about theflipside playing both. Which one do you keep? What would you do when Kreuzer is available? Curious. |

We need more mids The guys who were recruited for those roles have so far not delivered in that area SPS O’Brien Kennedy Setterfield Dow Cuningham Stocker where is he Lang Martin Polson These guys are meant to be are midfield that bats deep When Ed Curnow still stands out as the second best mid like dogs ball it says many things When Collingwood started to gain ascendancy in the third we had no answer In terms of the teams list this is where the problem lies |

I'm happy to criticise what never happened. His favourites let him down, or, he let his favourites down ,,, by not getting them out of the deep water. Reminded me of Bolton's endure policy.... but I'll stick Phat ... for now. |

We were out of our depth . Pies were one of the flag favourites not so long back. They hit a flat spot and we thought we could get them. We are not good enough. To many go missing when pressure is on. Martin steps up slots the goal before half time and then the confidence rises. He is being carltonised. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk |

He has to sprint to space when he has it. Its basic He didn't do it, and I know he use to try and do it when he was skinnier. I thibk we may have stripped him of confidence playing him as an 18yo when he was no Tim Watso, Jim Bucklet or Ken Sheldon wjo could do it at 16yo and younger |
