Worst performance for the year. Until we get rid of this mental fragility that has plagued this club for too long, we’ll just be a tease. Our best footy can match it with anyone. Our worst footy is probably the worst in the competition. There’s no consistency between games and even between quarters. Every side we play knows they’re never out of it because we can go from a 9/10 to a 0/10 at the drop of a hat. We need to find consistency of effort and performance.

Oh and just another year the Hawks laugh and take the piss out of us. Had a chance to take a stand. Didn’t have the mental fortitude to do it.

there is nothing good about that performance, from anyone.

completly dominated, in every position, from 1/4 time.

Seriously, please don't even open the MVP for this week. Not one player deserves a vote. So disappointing. I'm so sick of being Hawthorn's bitches. It's embarrassing

Midfield will be bringing the mouth guards to training this week, the second tier just didn’t have a good game as a collective.

Moore and Cuningham meant we played with 20 players for the game.

Plowman and Jones back to making bad decisions and disposal errors.

Pittonet smashed for the second time in three weeks.

Weitering a clear BoG for us.

I reckon the players talked with Brendan Bolton pre match and bought back memmories. I call aberration and will smash Eagles in two weeks once Boltonitis has been cured.

Got smashed in the middle. Pittonet well beaten, Setterfield invisible, Curnow ineffective whilst Kennedy is only any good in the wet.

Make them watch the replay over and over again while stuck in the hub, no day spa’s for them...

Carlton of old don’t deserve to win once again very poor at the selection
table how could you possibly play Moore and Newnes
Needed change things up this week going in with the same game plan
against a coach like Clarko was never going to work

And commentators before the game thought the club getting fined $45,000 was a big whack...

in a hectic season, not enough use of more players

Before this game there were 6 sides not capable of making the 8. There are now 7.
I will go back to what Liddle said at player sponsor night that 12 players would be cut.
This club continues to amaze me how people at the top make grand statements and knock the stuffing out of the mentally week players.
We are rebuilding.
It's not about wins and losses.
We need to assess the list.

You keep telling the players they are shit and won't be around for long they will respond accordingly

Yes, definitely. We had 2 real bad one's of the 20, R23 against Geelong, a round we traditionally switch off anyway, and tonight. Tonight was the worst given all the circumstances. Other losses have often been frustrating but highly competitive.

Not surprised at result

Carlton supporters continue to overrate it’s team

Have a close look at the players still in our best 22

By now players like Simpson, Murphy and Ed Curnow should have been replaced

Not remain key players within our team

Earning your spot isn’t what it used to be and 2020 is probably not the season where you play players who have earned their spot. More players needed. Don’t know what I’m saying. I’m pissed off.
