So who isn’t joining the Hub? Could be a few changes. Eddie has stated it might be difficult too.

I was under the impression all our players are onboard. I also truly believe, in most cases, we play better on the road. My concern however is, that mentally we cannot do it for a long period of time, eg. 2 or 3 weeks. We can hope that maybe, just maybe, being together for a month, might be the ignition or wake up call this group needs. We can hope...

I’d leave Simpson and Newnes out and play LOB and Stocker. LOB can kick and Stocker is at least hard. We need hard

Stocker can kick and get possessions

We can't play McKay and McGovern in the same team...

In fact, based on form and attitude, drop both of them.

Move Levi to CHF and bring in TDK at FF.

Bring in JSOS & Kennedy to assist in centre rotations.

Just don't serve up the same rubbish as last weekend...

Does anyone know whose job it is at the club to read all of these posts and pass the advice onto the relevant players and coaches? :smoking:

Hey...has anybody heard a rumour about Mark Naley passing away?

I'm hoping its not true (I know he's battling a brain cancer)

Nothing wrong with a vetted stakeholder's summary every week...after all, whenever a review is done, all stakeholders (usually) are consulted

In fact...memo to Cain Liddle...Stakeholder Engagement Initiative

Every week, 100 members are asked to complete a summary of their observations of the game...could be closed questions, multiple choice, even their views on what to START doing, what to STOP doing and what to KEEP doing

The summary is then vetted for any inappropriate responses and provided to the coaches who share with the players

They don't need to act on them but at least they are empowering members to be a part of the solution...Could be a groundbreaking initiative

Let's make it happen!!!!!!!

They all need to be professional and do the jobs that they are paid for.
I’ve had enough of hearing about these players picking and choosing, this is the biggest problem these days.
They get paid handsomely to fulfill their childhood dream,

Pretty sure all our players are going, but nonetheless I've got a different view to you redback.

They're not cricketers or FIFO workers - they didn't sign up for 5 week absences from home. Do you think Houli is in the wrong for staying back?

Some fresh legs, LOB and Stocker if fit and in form.

Why the calls for Stocker? By the match reports, Kennedy has been the standout 2nds player. If Stocker wants a guernsey, let him earn it.

I'm glad we've got a 10 day break for this game. We appear to need it

Kennedy must come in and play significant midfield minutes- no ifs, no buts

I don't want to hear excuses about a paper thin midfield when we are not exploring all the resources we currently have (Kennedy and Gibbons come to mind...maybe even Doc for short bursts just to mix it up)

Some fresh legs, LOB and Stocker IF fit and in form. By the way how do we know how Kennedy, LOB, Stocker etc went against the Saints? All we know is that we kicked 1 goal.

Practice match report from last weekend (from Saints website):

https://www.saints.com.au/news/737040/b ... -selection

Quote:
St Kilda dominated from start-to-finish in the 16v16 affair, with the red, white and black keeping the Carlton reserves to one goal for the match.

So we only managed to kick one goal.......no wonder the CFC didn't release a match report.

Two saints players played for us so I assume we only had around 14 to choose from, and an underdone TDK and Callum Moore vs paddy Ryder.
