You're not suggesting football fans are capable of overreaction, surely?!?

No. 'Manage' them. The club should do something out of the box. Play every fit player on the list this season. This season is a practice season for Carlton. It isn't finals bound. It desperately needs to get games into talented kids. Kids with pace. We've got a lot of joggers on this team. The game is faster than it was. Play the pace. Do I rate Plowman and Setterfield? No. I think they're average footballers who wouldn't get a game at another AFL club. Are Ed, Murph, Simmo and Eddie going to be there/getting a game in 18 months? No. Fast-track the kids.

Have a look at what Dylan Shiel did to Collingwood last night and then look at his performance against us.
Ridiculous suggestion to drop Ed. He's probably the one player who does his job every week.

It also sends the wrong message to drop arguably the most courageous and committed player after a game where the lack of those attributes cost us dearly.

Very limited player and momentum killer. Go back over this years games and see how many ball he sits on and gives free kicks away in crucial spots.
Is it hard for a coach to give a player other than curnow a direction to sit on his man then attack when the time is right, if it is then we have bigger problems than i thought.

I wouldn’t drop Ed as there is no replacement and he has a genuine crack

But he is an average player and has been one of our key midfielders for too long

I would feel much better about the shape of our list if he was in our bottom 6 - 8 players as a role player

I think I must be the only supporter who is pulling his hair out at why Kennedy is not in the team...as a mid

FFS...he's leaner and fitter and his ankle issues seem to be a thing of the past (fingers crossed)

Give him a block of games in the guts supporting Cripps...he is actually quite a talented footballer with good decision making and execution skills

I don't care if he's a little slow...would rather a footballer than an athlete

PS. Look at his first 10-15 minutes against Richmond Rd 1 2018 just before he did his ankle when we kicked the first 5-6 goals

WTF does he need to do to get a game?????

Why? We simply pissed 2 games down the drain with bad starts, otherwise we could well be 4-1, 3-2 at worst. Only thing we need is a change of attitude and turn up at the first bounce. We've shown we have the ability to match anyone.

this is great, a mid winter trip to queensland to see the boys... oh wait.

Don't remind me. We were supposed to be playing Gold Coast tomorrow and I was going.
Should have flown up Friday morning and returned on Monday.
Looking at the weather up there compared to what we have down here is very depressing.

Would rather they were in form than having had a bad loss...slightly more chance our boys may be awake at the first bounce

We raise or lower our game to the level of opposition, so their form is irrelevant.
