Jones was great apart from one bad decision.

X2 turnovers by foot going across goal..both were horrid mistakes.

From memory there were 2 Jones clangers which resulted in St Kilda goals.

I'm chalking this year up as another wasted year.

That 20 in a row.

Remind me the last time we were 2-3 after 5 rounds?

8 wins this year is a good season, 7 a pass.

The bugbear is the commitment.

In the 3rd quarter rally the tackling and pressure especially in the forward half was good. For the rest of the game it was terrible.

Cannot drop the whole team. I would drop Harry and Mac for TDK and JSOS in a like for like. Okay Philp for Fisher although Philp seemed more at ease with the pace this time around.

Put the rest of the team on notice.

Simmo’s 208th loss tonight, equaling VFL/AFL record.

Would be nice to stave off the inevitable for one more week

Not even close tonight.

Two stats sum it up for me:
11/22 players with 1 tackle or less tonight.
0.0 combined from H, Levi and Gov.

We continue to pick and choose when we want to bring effort and intensity. This is pretty much a replica of the Richmond and Melbourne game. Until the inconsistent effort is a thing of the past, we’ll just be a tease.

Thought Martin was the only winner on the night. Philp had a crack too.

Not good enough.

Ratts didn't look all that comfortable in the coaches box until about 3 mins to go.
I think it's a fear we instilled in him all those years ago.

Marc with a C had a job on Brad Hill and did it very well.
Shhhhh you must disrespect him at every opportunity.

Collectively as supporters we are sooks.

Players need to mature and so do we as supporters.

We'll get there, it's a shit season with glorified practice matches. Hang tough.

Oh and drop Mackay, Newnes and SPS

Imagine that being released as a piece of memorabilia...

And then a new piece for each loss thereafter.

Why was the game moved from the MCG?

So many absolute howlers tonight.

Jones across goal, not once, but twice.

Gov failing to rush the ball over, in fact basically tapped it back in so they could kick the easiest of goals.

Willo, @#$%&! me I don’t even know how to describe what he did. Plus a missed uncontested mark early in the 4th, which lead to a Saints goal from memory.

Newnes, spare in defence, allows the ball to get passed him, Saints goal.

Just a really @#$%&! poor night for the club, from the coaches down. Putrid.

Surely we have to let SPS loose now in the midfield.

He has paid his back line penance long enough.

Just so deflating to know we're out of the game so early in proceedings

He played ok last week. 2 in a row was too much to expect. Our problem is the Dows and the LOBs.....high draft picks stagnating.
