The AFL will probably take some draft picks off us

I'm a little confused with this, are these rules to ensure that players aren't exposed to the general public? Or to protect QLD from Victorians?

I think the answer to that depends upon whether you are the AFL or the QLD government.....

I think it's to prevent possible transmission back to the playing group. On this basis though all people that come into contact with footballers (even those that live in QLD) can't go anywhere? It all seems very odd and over the top.

For example Daniel Rich's partner can't go to the hairdressers?

I hope they aren't relying on him to do it. I'd be worried with those little t-rex like arms holding scissors anywhere near me.

So we get fined $45k with $25k suspended. I'd be passing the bill to the family involved.

That's the 2020 season done.

Bring on the draft picks and 2021.

I think we should change this to where will we holiday given the performance last night
Enjoy holidays boys and enjoy the sun forget about all the supporters you let down last night and have paid their membership to keep the club afloat
Take it easy as this club has been doing for the last 20 years and become almost an irrelevancy
Lift and what a disgraceful effort for those blues supporters that turned up to watch you turn up your toes after quarter time

There's still plenty left in this season for the Bluebaggers.

Anything can happen. We might beat the Cats at Kadinia park.

We haven't seen any of the younger guys play much yet: TDK, Dow, Fisher, OBrien....

I expect more good footy from the Blues in this our development year, whilst the kids build up their bodies.

Agreed. We're not the only team that suffers from wild peaks and troughs in performance. It's just that Carlton is the only team we care about, so obvs it upsets us more.

We know, more than we have in previous years, that we can play attractive, exciting and winning football.

But it will take more time to develop and tweak our playing list such that we can have improved contributions from all parts of the field. With that will come belief.

Richmond were laughable in 2017 and overnight they became the competition's benchmark. Except it didn't happen overnight.
