I'm not actually sure how we won that... the Myers advantage and Doch save. The Ablett miss. Simmo's finger tip. Ratugalea punching a certain goal back into play. Footy gods smiled on us for once

Almost hope our game next week is cancelled. Forgot how stressful this shit is.

Eddie is a class above. Exactly what we’ve been missing. Ditto for Jack Martin
Weiters, Doc, Crippa, Levi, Pittonet all good. Thought Silvagni had some brilliant moments.

Plow has some shocking moments. Harry has become the great deflator now that Levi has become a beast. I’d consider TDK for Harry if we play next week.

That was 6 good quarters in a row before the last. 3 last week and 3 this week. That's a step forward

Thank god! I just felt sick in the last few minutes. The heart rate still hasn't settled down, I'm too old for this!

A win in Geelong, how good is that! Congratulations to all, plenty to work on, but bask in the victory boys.

All about belief. As a supporter at 3/4 time I was nervous, I don't doubt the players were the same.

Now to build a winning culture.

Without Eddie we would have lost by 4-5 goals.
I hope Cunningham is watching and learning.

Plow just struggled and H just has brain fades. He is a player of extremes.

Willo is best 22. Very strong, gets his hands free, quick and a good kick. Great to have him back.

Gibbons should be starting in the midfield, it’s just his position and it showed last week and this. Great game.

Casboult enormous, and will take over from Rocca to be McKay kicking coach.

Eddie was vintage. That tackle! Fraser Brown 99 and Darren Hulme are the two biggest tackles I remember above this. Gibbs against Collingwood his first year is 4th now.

Great 3 quarters, bloody hell that last, the guys couldn't run, couldn't handle the ball, couldn't think etc etc etc etc....except for Betts...

Harry, seriously if he is fit I'd play De Koning. Pitto was spent, needed a chop out but we needed Cas in the forward half so get rid of Harry and bring in the King!

Panic stations - we need to play more games like that and learn how to maintain equilibrium under the onslaught - the only way is experience - it was good for us tonight.

Martin - thank the gods for him...a beauty.

Just back from the game

So glad we won .... so glad no injuries
I think poise was mentioned in one of the treads last week. We needed that in spades in the final quarter.
McKay ..... the miss and the turnover cost 2 goals then they got a sniff
Should be 2 and 1

My heart couldn’t take that. Geez us blue baggers do it tough....

We were really quite fantastic for 3 qtrs. Thought for sure we had blown it.

Will gladly take the win, especially against the Cats in Geelong, and the learnings.

We’d be pretty damn good if we could play four quarters of footy.
