So McKenna was tested at the tail end of the life of the corona virus he had or may have had.
So AFL and worsfold pretend he never had it?
Why are travellers into Australia, WA, SA required to isolate for 14 days?
Hint.
For the same reasons sports groups including the AFL limits training groups to 9.
What is it about the AFL, Victorian Health Authority and some Victorians who think the AFL players have a different set of rules than the general public?
Worsfold questions whether McKenna had the virus. Has he any doubts that McKenna had the virus when he was training with his pod?
Just watching 7 news and the health authority said it's just one bit of spit is all it takes and more likely to catch the virus standing at a bar than sitting in a restaurant. What about tackling Saad with pressed faces? Spitting on the grass, then rolling in it, wiping your nose then handling a ball and passing it to a team mate, who does the same, spitting in hand for grip....spare me.
Drug cheating team is in someone's pocket or there's something really wrong going on in Victoria.
I'm in Melb on business and I'm keeping my distance and social distancing etc....I will not be surprised to see huge spike in Victoria and all states shut their borders to victoria.
Shock jocks are having a go at AFL and Victoria, and so are the quiet ones who think the AFL are odd with their rules and applying them....the same rules the rest of the country abides by.
AFL and ESS are playing Russian roulette with the other 17 teams in the comp.
Disgrace. This virus is killing people you idiots.
Enforce the rules. Training Pod should isolate for 14 days
I think we are a bit confused by the current rules. I heard the news when they said spitting could spread the virus. I was also surprised that those players didn't have to isolate too. We are told returned travelers have to quarantine for 14 days because this is how long the virus can incubate for yet others are told that they must isolate until the results of the test are known.
There are too many mixed messages coming from the authorities at the moment.
What if he has infected another Essendon* player and that player does not show any symptoms until say next Monday. They could be contagious on Saturday night when we play them, putting our players at risk.
It is quite depressing being a Victorian at the moment. We are possibly going into another strict lockdown with no end in sight at present.
