TDK the more raw, athletic, free willing and not so good body to body and inexperienced or Pittonet the lumbering, big body, slow hard at it ruckman, interesting selection. Against English, I would go TDK assuming he has the tank to go with English. English likes to push forward. |

I'd sit Kreuzer in the goal square and allow McGovern to use him as an extra springboard to take extra-spectacular speccies. He is a spectacular species. |

I’d go with out: Kreuzer, Dow, Setterfield (Newman if injured) In: Pittonet, TDK, LOB (Williamson) Taller up forward so someone might take a grab and save us turning it over. I like Setterfield and Dow but they can’t play as bad as they did and keep their spot. Plowman Jones Newman/Williamson Docherty Weitering SPS Walsh Cripps Fisher Gibbons Casboult Cuningham Martin McGovern TDK Pittonet Murphy Curnow Simpson LOB Silvagni Newnes |

I’m still fuming about our first quarter and the last 5 mins of the second quarter. I’d be pissed if the players and coaches aren’t too. If we aren’t ‘ready to go’ then we are going nowhere. |

Anybody know if the Two Tones podcast is back for this season? I hope so. Great show IMO. Maybe I should have posted this in the sugar coaters' thread but here it is... |

Doggies had no bite at all. Why should they change so dramatically in the course of a week. At least we had a dip. Blues for me with a couple of changes. Stocker/O'Brien preferably both for Dow and Gibbons. For Kreuzer TDK rather than Pittonet although I don't really care as this is why Pittonet came in. Philp could be a blindside selection. |

I know Simmo is still worth his place in the team but just barely so it is time for a youngster in his place for pace and the future. And I am/was a Simmo fan. |

Why Stocker, Teddy? He admitted that his endurance isn't AFL standard and I haven't seen or heard anything too make me think that has changed. Give the spot to someone who busts a gut and wants to put in the hard yards to earn it. Williamson fits to bill IMO. As for Simmo, I agree. If he does retain his spot which I'm happy enough with, don't get him to do the kick outs. Long to Cripps against 3 opposition players isn't a viable tactic. |

To answer your question BS, Tony M, like SOS, didn't have his contract renewed. The club is toying with the idea of the players running a podcast....... |

Its all touchy feely lovey dovey at the kennel.Too much so for mine.Made 'em soft.Made 'em brittle and fragile. No more so than Tim English who i would target ferociously. All the booms and wraps on him evaporated with the mauling Grundy gave him.His confidence would be shot.Perfect time to destroy it completely with a sustained non stop physical onslaught.........Blues,for faaarksake get on the front foot and approach this game like an old style Carlton side would.Shit,if ' Big Nick " and his gang was still around they would be rubbing there hands with glee approaching this game.Hit 'em hard early then concentrate on the ball.Works every time.Think about what GWS did to them in the final last year.I expect us to do the same.Hunt the man and the ball hard. |

Williamson instead of Stocker fair enough. I happen to be a Stocker fan. Simmo replacement. |
