Jack Martin's kicking ability stands out so much in this team.

Why did Newnes kick it to someone further from goal and on a worse angle?

Martin is elite....his disposal shows up every other player on our list. Terrible from Setters

Martin just so skilful. Get it in his hands when going inside fifty as often as possible

Put a line through Newnes. No good. Setterfield has been very disappointing as well. Plowman has done nothing to change my mind on him. I don't care what the BnF says. Jack SOS tries hard but I fear he just isn't good enough. And most concerning has been the centre square set up. Slaughtered tonight.

Having said that, massive improvement across the board from last week. Dow much better but faded out. Betts did some nice things. Cripps will be better for the run. Zac Fisher nice at times and Jack Martin showed flashes.

The kicking continues to let us down though and the 8 goal turnaround was a bit shit

Newnes can't possibly play round 1. Probably shouldn't play at all unless we get a truckload of injuries

Do not like Newnes in our team at all.

Is Murphy still there? Or managed time?

Same game as last week. Competitive for a half, queue in the rack and once our intensity drops we aren’t much chop.

De Koning has to play against Richmond.

Newnes is a hard no from me as well.

Setterfield will be lucky to play as well based on the last two weeks. Been very poor.

Fair to say we’re going into round 1 as flat as a tack. Skill errors kill us and it looks like more of the same again this season.

22 possessions. Way ahead of 3/4 of the rest of them.

45 point loss. 69 point turnaround. Doubled the scoring shots. Playing a good side but that was a pretty shit effort in the end.

Interesting to see how Newnes goes today, didn't show much against Collingwood or Fremantle last week.

Pity we couldn't watch the Northern Blues, would like to know how Stocker, Cunningham, Kennedy and Williamson went. Our midfield is our weakness and we need in form players to press for senior spots.

Newnes, just as I thought.
