Got to see the first 2 ‘quarters’. We looked well organised, especially down back. Betts & Docherty are huge inclusions. Both top 10 players. Newness was busy, but made some errors with disposal. Philp already looks more likely than someone like Polson. He’s a dark horse for rnd. 1 I reckon. Silvagni played the linking role. In fact, with no McGovern & Curnow & McKay, we went small up forward with Betts, Kennedy & Silvagni when Casboult took a spell. |

2.2 to 5.0 4th quarter. Many more changes: no Levi, Eddie, Willo. Mostly small foward line. Crippa stayed on, presumably to support newer midfielders Dow and Cunners. Polson had looked good playing as the small defender - and good luck to him I say. TdK far more effective than Pittonet. Lang won't get a game this year. Honey showed a bit. A couple of non listed players. |

Whats with the 6 periods? Are we going to see more of this? Is this why the AFL want a shorter half time break? I Just don't know? Do you? |

1.1 to 1.3 in the 5th. We were full vfl, they had stars still playing. Didn't often string two good things together. Honey can play. TdK competes so well. |

1.0 to 1.0 in the shortened 6th or 7th (I've lost count!!) Same line ups previous period. Definitely seconds footy but they'll be better for the run. |

All up I work out we finish 36pts ahead at the end of 4 x 25 min/3 x 10 min terms. |
