Stumbled across the West Coast Carlton game round 21 1995.
Watched it with great pleasure again.
Not necessarily the best standard game but definitely for me the most memorable
Obviously Mc Kenna doesn’t remember much about it
Earl Spalding was massively underrated

Interested in the down time on which games live most in posters memories

I was at the Walker game.
The atmosphere was surreal.

LIVE
1970 Grand Final. I was with my sister plus a bunch of Collingwood supporters. Half time:  ; full time: GAGF

TV
1995 Grand Final. I was living in Texas and watching it with my wife and a Dallas native who was "rooting" for Carlton. "y'all are a bunch of pussies". Great night.

The 1993 semi final at arctic park against Adelaide.

Harry Maddens goal, and the resulting cheer, shook the stands. Never heard a bigger cheer ( or as much laughter) as that piece of play.

LIVE: 1981 Grand Final when Carlton came back from 21 pts down against Collingwood. The roar was deafening when we hit the front.

TV: 2019 Carlton v Fremantle. Marc Murphy’s goal to win the game.

Round 3 1993 is a H&A game that stands out for me. Amazing finish, considering what had occurred the previous week, and the place was absolutely rocking.

The 1995 GF and 1999 PF are the most memorable finals I’ve been to.

Most memorable match watched on TV would be Sydney vs Judd in 2011.

79 grand final was a belter.
87 because we beat the best team of the last 30 years.
Fevs game against the Pies.
But the one game that stood out from all was Judds game in the pissing rain at the SCG on Royal wedding night.
The best game by any player I have ever seen and to finally win is Sydney was just terrific. Amazing night

I know it's a cliche but '99 prelim as a live game for obvious reasons.

There was a game I was at in the early 90s against the Saints out at Waverley where Dototich went bananas in the second half and kicked about half a dozen to bring us back from about 5 goals down at half time. Always stuck in my memory.

And for the wrong reasons, the Hawthorn game 2009 where Fev had the chance to put us in front with minutes to go and hit the post. It was the weekend Richard Pratt died and I always felt like if we'd got up that day, it would have been the proper turning point in our fortunes.

On TV, the Adelaide game where Fev kicked it from the boundary 50 out to put us in front with less than a minute to go and the round 23 Port game to put us into 9th and, by extension, the finals in 2013

Kouta vs WC at PP.

Can’t remember the year but I think 18 possessions in the last quarter and one passage where he kicked out from full back and basically touched it 3 or 4 times on the way to kicking the next goal.

We won by a point.

Having watched the boys since the mid '60s all the above live and all the above on TV.

Also three tmes at PP. The day the confectionary stand caught fire in the outer underneath the scoreboard and the crowd spilling on to the ground.
Jezza running back with the flight of the ball, Magro jumped mid air, collected him and Jezza left the field unconscious. Carlton 5 goals behind at half time went on to win the match.
The day Robbie Muir went beserk, clocked somebody, Dennis Collins (I think) and looked as if he was about to clock the umpire whole being reported. Great theatre.

1992. I've still got 3AW's call on a cassette somewhere. Dorotich took 5 marks in the third qtr!

My first Carlton ever game was in the early sixties. It's my most memorable because that's when it got real for me.
A busload of us went down in the care of a couple of the staff from St Pat's Ballarat to Geelong.
John Benetti rushed a behind with a few seconds to go to save a goal and we lost by a point.

The next time I saw them live was in the 1968 GF but my first ever game was the one. I reckin I was 12 or 13.

It was the 81 grand final on tv that’s my earliest recollection of watching Carlton, I remember at the start of the game we kicked a goal in the first 30 seconds or so, I just remember Johnston and co just willing the ball fwd from the bounce until it went through. It was a goal through sheer force of will.

The 70 Grand Final, then this game.

More recently, the St Kilda game this year and that late goal by Harry. Actually reminded me a bit of the late goal by Jezza in the 1970 grand final.

Born in 67, remember going all around Melb to watch the mighty Blues. Never forget 79.

Boy we were spoilt.

Never celebrated as much though as the 99 prelim, so much hatred for the Cheats, beating Freo this year got close.

Just because I went to school in Geelong at the time, the game at PP in 1990 against the Cats. Where we were down by 41 points at half time & won by 19.

And the resultant weird feeling of actually looking forward to school on the Monday
