| Post subject: | old 1983 game footage |
Would anyone on here happen to have any old footage from home and away games for season 1983 at all? I have tried contacting the club, ch 2, ch 7, the afl, and check youtube daily. I am basically after old footage from winners episodes of 1983 season. If anyone can possibly assist me at all with this, please get in touch thank you |

There used to be a VHS/DVD service called Name a Game but they closed in 2018. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Name_A_Game Interesting that according to the Wikipedia entry, they only had Ch 7 games from 1990. |

This is correct, nothing from the 1980s apart from a few home and away games in season 1987 |

Rnd 1. v Richmond Princes Park - Win, Mark Buckley 6 goals. Rnd 3 v Collingwood at Waverley - Win, Bosustow 6 goals. Rnd 9 v Hawthorn at Princes Park - Win, Madden 4 goals, Ditchburn 3 Rnd 21 v North Melb. at Princes Park - Win, Hunter 7 goals. 1984 Rnd 1 v Hawthorn at Waverley - Win, Ralph 9, Madden 5, Johnston 5 I have them on one DVD, just played part of it, the first two are Channel 7, unsure of the rest's commentary. I may be able to copy it for you. |
