Too sensible. On balance I think he's done a very good job. It's exciting to think what this list can do in the next decade.

Here's our 2015 list, with ages. 8 players remain.

And just to understand how diabolical the list was, the only player there still playing good footy week in week out elsewhere is Tuohy. Gowers and Holman are journeyman at best, in and out of their sides.

Picking up Newman and Gibbons means we also might have turned the corner on cheap trades and late picks, which has been the glaring deficiency of the list management team. If Newnes and Martin can replicate that then the only thing left is getting a quality Free Agent. That requires being on the verge of finals and success.

Don’t worry
That won’t happen but clearly some people at the club have similar views

Probably will end up running a consultant agency with his mate
Ross the toss Lyon

Having said that, this is very Carlton. When I was a kid there were internal rumblings to the extent they were referred to as the ''Battling Blues''. Internal Battling !!
Possibly the most publicised issue was how divided the club was over who coached the Blues, Jim Francis or Ken Hands.
Enter George Harris. Immediately followed by Ron Barassi. None of that is relevant today of course, but our club does have a history of ''We catch and kill our own''. To borrow a phrase from the Painters and Dockers Union.

My dad was at Russell St Police HQ in the early 70's.
He'd occasionally tell us that they had found another member of the Painters and Dockers in the bay or wherever. They didn't even investigate the losses, they just crossed them off the list.

Interesting.
We really don't need division at this point.

I think there is only going to be one loser in a “it’s either him or me” ultimatum between SOS and Liddle if MLG is the arbiter.

Are you OK ? men's health and all that.................Me ? i don't get down in the dumps.Depression ? what the Faaark is that ? but shit, this footy club brings you to the brink of it.Our great club after a very long lean period has finally got it together. We can see daylight, there is clear water ahead...............and now this shitWhen we have finally turned the corner we have derailed.......AGAIN......for the first time in my life i am sad and feeling low.I can't believe these people who we have put our faith in have done this to us..........AGAIN............cant tell you how sad i am boys.I am disgusted with the whole damn lot of them. These so called pillars of society are contemptuous of us rank and file battlers...................WHY NOW ?

Regards Mick.

The Carlton Football Club................Now...Always...Forever.

We're still a boys club, in the long run there will be more than one loser...

Some at the club have done the analysis and it ain't good or a surprise... Bolton and SOS, Agresta and SOS not on the same page, SOS and anybody not named Brodie...

Not that the SOS worshippers here can see it or care (a little like Trump supporters)

Apart from the massive gaps on our list, we keep doing less with more, while other clubs do more with less!
