trade kennedy asap before his value drops big body supportive mid that can play fwd / keep setters

We will have to delist some and trade some players every year starting 2020.

We will have to Trade out a young gun a some stage. We can't keep stocking them up. Its inevitable.

Have to cash in whilst there's currency, because players don't go up in value if they don't play senior games even if it is due to a long queue waiting for a spot in the 22... and with finals around the corner, we become a Destination club, so get use to the idea of trading players we like to get players we desire...just as we did with Josh Kennedy. Lets hope we are doing it to win the next flag sooner than later and start a dynasty we have planned for.

I'm not much of a Kennedy fan.

He bobbed up a couple of times playing forward but there's not much to his game from what I can see.

Let's just say Pittonet is pretty much a lock as 1st ruck next year and we have Charlie, Harry, Levi, Gov, Jack and TDK all fit and ready to play.

Who plays in the forward line ?

Who is surplus to our needs and on the table for trade ?

The AFL players who may have some value who I'd trade are Levi and Kennedy.

Neither would be putting cap pressure on the list, so from that perspective they are workhorse depth players next year.

But if someone gives us a 2nd or 3rd rounder or better still as part of a package with a pick to get that mid, or that small forward we need next year.

We wouldn't get much for Kennedy, & rightly so.

Great question.

I'm sure every Carlton tragic would be thinking along similar lines.

and if not forward, who might that push out in the backline.

Ruck: Pittenet

FF: Harry McKay
CHF: Charlie Curnow
HHF/Mid: Jack
FP: Gov

FP:

That's probably right

Maybe someone sees him as that missing piece forward?

He's been alright.
He's been in media highlights packages

I think Fisher is a lock in FP. I'd like to see SPS on the HFF or wing. Cunningham maybe makes up the forward six with players like Jack, Gibbo, Martin, Dow, rotating through the bench.HFF/midfield.
Kemp and Cripps have to fit in there as well and Levi if we still have him.
I prefer Newnes in th back half drifting forward.

In two yeras this team will be unrecognisable, especially if we can land Papley and an established mid in between times.

another player i would trade is lachie plowman if you think about it , he doesnt provide any run from defence ,he gets out marked,he gets outrun, never helps teammate like 3rd man up,someone called him a selfish defender .I have watched him over the years and unfortunately this is my opinion.

according to Corny we should try and trade Walsh now, maybe package him with Plowman for someone Port Adelaide don't want?
