Which of the current top 10 are we having a better year than next year?

Geelong, Brisbane, Collingwood, West Coast, Richmond and possibly even the Bulldogs have us well covered. We're fighting with GWS, Hawthorn, Port, Adelaide, North, and Essendon* for those last two spots.

Forget talent for a minute, but what do Walsh, O'Brien, Fisher, SPS, Dow, Cunningham and even Simpson have in common? They're all small bodied. Thats a third of your squad for the day. Doesn't take a genius to see that Geelong are monstering us with their big bodies (cleaner disposal helps too)

I can't see one preseason being enough, personally

Just wanted a competitive result today

Won't get it

Puts a dampener on our finish to the year

I don't think we will get Coniglio so players like Dow and Fischer need to improve next year

Can't continue to just rely on players like Ed and Murphy to win the midfield battle

Things change alot each year. Sides you don't expect rise rapidly and others fall that you don't expect. You see Brisbane on top of the ladder?
